Just out of interest, what context is behind the Indonesian faction? As in, what role do they play in the larger picture? Is there any backstory or whatever?

Can't wait, another faction!

This is one of the main things I like about PR, and the older Battlefield games. The variety of factions.

BFBC2 gets boring after a while with only Americans and Russians.

That all look the same, use the exact same guns, and play the same 8 or so levels ad infinitum. I still had heaps of fun with it though for the first month

i have said it before, have a good critical look at the faction. think about what your skills are and how they can contribute to the faction, then go ahead and do it, even if all you do is promote PR amongst your friends, get them online and gaming, your doing something to help the faction and the PR community as a whole.

I try to spread the word to fellow clanmates who used to play the mod to get them playing it again.

Is the ADF still up an going coz i havnt heard anything from this thread in a looooong time

afaik Tonnie is a bit busy IRL, but I'm sure this faction is continuing after some of the fantastic work that has already been done.

@rudd i think apart from some things that are not needed in the first two maps, and one or two final passes we are only waiting on the DEV's to get back to us on a few things and to put us on the final approach, we just have to be patient and wait as the workload the devs must be under i can only assume must be huge.

as for every one else guys. tonnie and the others have been working their arses off, lots of real life issues and the shear massive workload put on just a few people particularly tonnie. tonnie has gone above and beyond in the amount of work he has done for all of us. and we just need to be patient and wait. as it stands you wont see any huge updates(AFAIK) until the DEV's are ready to release them as most of the work we can do is already been done and is waitng for final completion. i am not privy to what the DEVs are upto in PR heaven so i cant speak for them, it would be nice to hear whats up though?

What's the go, can we hear from Dev-land what's happening with the faction? The subforum is pretty much dead, apparently all the assets are done and there's no news. What's the go?
