well that just takes away the whole concept of Battlefield, those are some awsume suggestions though

Maybe not just dead, but if the mod could make built in respawn times of 1-2 minutes that would be good.

1-2 minutes is far too long, that would drive a lot of players away, although this game is aimed at a niche, there is a point at which people will get annoyed by massive spawn times, we have to keep it reasonable

1 minute isnt massive.... and its both anoying and unrealistic to have someone spawn and know exactly where you are seconds after you kill them. The idea is to encourage people to stay alive, and not be rambo idiots.

realistic parachutes, maybe if possible, make it so you can flare them

[R-DEV wrote:Black Beret]Cpt. Sniper and I were discussing this earlier, and we think that EOD Teams would be a great feature in PR.

Some members of the team would essentially be advanced marksmen, issued with the M82A1M/M107 SASR (Special Application Scoped Rifle). And others would be soldiers who control the Talon Remote Controlled EOD Device.

These EOD Teams would be used to destroy UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) such as land mines, unexploded munitions -- such as bombs, or artillery rounds -- and enemy explosive devices.
Would be nice if that took the place of the engineer, he would be able to clear the landmines and other stuff...he could have a heavy flak jacket so if anything went off he wouldnt be killed instantly.

EOD teams and Engineers would be two separate entities.

thats the whole concept of battlefield, with the sizes of maps, their would be practicially no one playing, everyone would be either dead or hiding cause they don't want to wait two minutes

Battlefield 2's maps scale according to the amount of players currently playing. If there's only a few, the maps scales down to be much smaller.

he he yes, long live DCF!, o and something i would like to see is the ability to sorta stand around in helicopters, i relize in the last to battlefields thats kinda hard do to the fact, that you sorta pretend like your fallings and almost all of the aircraft are two small, but if possible i would like to see it done

I believe that this has already been corrected/added in BF2, from what the videos and some of the pics show. EA/Dice have really listened to communities like DCF and other PBF boards, on what they would want for future patches, or even games as is now the case.

More like trauma lsitened to DCF, and then told EA about our good ideas.

in BF2 you have the ability to stand firmly on all vehicles to a physical extent, once the helis or tanks start flipping and spinning out of control i assume you might fall off

i posted alot of ideas at DCF that were appreciated by DCF and people liked, except only one made it ingame, and that would be the medi helicopter
