Of course.
I'm not sure what you mean. You can tell which dot you are on the screen by either highlighting your name in the squad menu or by simply zooming in on your map, (you're the one it's centered on).

Wanda Shan's mains and all ship based spawns have them atm. The call goes to the person who made the map currently, and the rest we leave up to the server admins.
If it becomes a huge issue we can always add protection fields to all the main bases that are not capturable in the next patch.

UHH no it doesnt, i have meleed almost 10 people with the Tavor-21 and all of them die once, although i've hit them all in the back...so maybe yes...

Yeah I believe in the manual its categorized under the knifes and bayonets, which are "instantly lethal" under normal circumstances. Now if you get the crappy bf2 hit registration which does happen sometimes, you may not be able to kill the target you think you hit or takes multiple hits to do so. That could be what he's thinking when melee doesn't kill with just 1 hit is the his reg.

The mortar rule sounds good but if they do that you should not be able to place them in main otherwise counter battery will be impossible.
Q:Also how many can the AAV hold?

Fobs cannot be placed within 200 meters of the command post so Mortars wont be able to be placed in mains.

As you have to build the mortar next to a firebase, which can't be too close to the vehicle depot in main, hiding behind the shield doesn't work.
AAVP, limited by the BF2 passenger limit, carries a full squad + Gunner and Driver.
