I actually fixed it randomly one time a long time ago...
I played 12 rounds in a row without a single BSOD, and it was awesome. [great game day on TG]
But i forgot how i did it, then i got a virus and broke it, now i've never gotten it to be the same....
My fix was always to just install XP alongside my W7 install.

Hi.
I had this problem before. i found that using custom drivers by danel K seem to work fine on Win7 x64, which you can find here:
PAX Drivers
I suggest you uninstall all your XFI driver run Driver Sweeper and CCcleaner Registry clean.
Restart download the "PAX PCI XFI PAX Audio Suite DVD 2011 V1.00" package.
then download and install the latest driver package which is "PAX PCI XFI ALL OS Driver V4.60 July 23 2011" at the time of this post.
If u need further more help. PM or reply the thread.

The PAX driver seems to have fixed the issue as well for me with my X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty, on Windows 7 x64. Using
this driver in particular, but it depends on what X-Fi card you have...
Played a good 4 rounds of Co-Op with the Creative X-Fi/Ultra High audio setting, usually would BSOD after the first round. As an added bonus, 5.1 finally works properly

.
Good stuff

I've been having mic issues, BF2 not picking up the mic in voipsetup, mic boost greyed out, people not hearing me or very faintly.
So i tried a pax driver, good thing is i still have sound, bad thing windows doesnt see a mic anymore, probably because of the flex jack being defaulted to something else.
Question is how do i alter this, while using the Pax driver, ive deleted anything creative by hand, didn't do any of the sweapers or cleaner.
Help would be greatly appriciated, because i can see desperate meassures up a head on my part.

OMG FINALLY!!!!!!! Finally I find the root cause of my BSODng... I upgraded my entire system thinking that there was something wrong with it and the only thing I kept from my old tower is the g'd damn sound card (X-Fi Xtremegamer). And you know the worst part is that I upgraded about 4 months ago and it just dawned on me that it might be the card

ops:
Well, I'll try this Daniel dude's fix and see if that works cuz I hate restarting the game at round end mostly cuz I just forget then I BSOD and then I break my mouse after slamming it
Thanks for the very useful info!

Seems that the 3.6 is a fix.
Copy/paste of my post in creative forums after trying what AncientMan said:
I've found what seems to be a permanent fix:
I have downloaded PAX Drivers pack 3.6, installed after uninstalling all creative things and using Driver Sweeper.
I had problems with my Titanium PCIe being recognized by Windows so I installed the 4.0 PAX drivers, then I got it working, after that, installed PAX Suite 2.00 which had console and other things.
Well, tested Project Reality, and had BSOD after changing map.
Then, without uninstalling anything, I installed the 3.6 again, I mean, overwriting the 4.0 drivers.
I've been playing for 3 days now, changing maps and everything without BSOD, with PR @ Ultra High.

After a few hours of playing, I think I can confirm that these PAX drivers don't cause BSoD unlike the standard Creative drivers. This is great and the game really does sound epic again.
X-Fi XtremeMusic here.

I only can say for PCIx:
http://dl.technewshw.com/driver/PAX/PAX ... 20V4.25.7z
But try the new 5.25 driver for PCI:

Does anyone know what the Pax Master Suite 1.0 is?
It is listed there as the latest post:
PAX Download - PCI X-Fi Series
So is this newer than Pax5.0 or whats the difference?
It looks like it concludes all the software (e.g. Console Launcher) but did anyone test this with PR?
EDIT: going to try out Pax master suite now

Yeah, this is a known problem with running Creative on ultra high. Just reduce it to High and you'll be good.
