i didnt know there was a 1.3 version...

is that the August release ?
I think rhino has your answer here. Uninstall the old version then install the new version. (like saying, remove the old pr before installing the new one

)

I did uninstall the old version... but didn't manually delete the files... that might just be the problem.

Can someone that followed duckhunt's PR mapping method post their content.ini here? Because it has something to do with that. If I don't load certain files, the editor won't crash, but I've apparently loaded something invalid. Am I supposed to unpack "Common_client.zip" and "Common_server.zip" too?

???
content.ini?
what are u trying to do???

You know the content.ini located in "[Battlefield 2 folder]\bfeditor\settings\default\"? I'm gonna copy that to see what I should load in the editor, because evidently I'm trying to load something that was never meant for the editor to process.

my content.ini wrote:Mod bf2
folder default Objects\Common
folder default Objects\Effects
folder default Objects\Kits
folder default Objects\soldiers
folder default Objects\vehicles
folder default Objects\weapons
Mod Builder
folder default Objects\Common
folder default Objects\DynamicObjects
folder default Objects\Effects
folder default Objects\Kits
folder default Objects\MiscObjects
folder default Objects\Roads
folder default Objects\Soldiers
folder default Objects\StaticObjects
folder default Objects\Vegitation
folder default Objects\Vehicles
folder default Objects\Water
folder default Objects\Weapons
Sounds strange. Backup your map folder, uninstall editor+ delete any remaining files. Reinstall editor and go back to PR objects tutorial I wrote.

ah k im with you, thought you where trying to put a ini file with your map for some odd reason
what you trying to get the editor to load?

I don't know what I'm loading to cause the editor to crash, but it sure isn't happening to anyone else. That's why I want to use duckhunt's content.ini.

IF it fails again. Make a new mod to work in. Load all the stuff fresh into it.
