Perhaps it's too low...

Only the sky can be seen. Leave it as it is and bright up the trees and land

Try raising the contrast, the blue tint lightens the dark parts too much.

Kind of a pathetic edit. It was mostly just practice with dust clouds, I guess.

Well look harder, there's a pretty big difference.

Ummm I don't mean to insult your intelligence mate but are you sure you saved?
Here are the differences I see:
Darker
Blur
afterburners on the ef2000
Slightly more yellow on the blast next to the APC
some shrapnel trails in the main explosion
If you have done something major that I'm missing please tell, I've been having sight trouble recently

The only dust difference he's talking about is the explosion by the APC. Open both pictures in two windows and look back and forth between them. The edited one's explosion is slightly bigger and a little more frayed.
The bomb in the city also has a little more added to it, but it's barely noticeable unless you're looking back and forth between the original and the edit.

Yes I remade both of the dust clouds, colors and textures of both of them are different and they are slightly larger. You do have to look closely at each image to see the details, that's the main reason I called it pathetic. But I found a good way to make dust clouds, and that's what matters, right?

It's unfortunate that my inspiration has been broken for months now, it's really bothering me.

meh..
My editing is getting somewhat repetitive, need new ideas..
I've had the best results when I've planned and taken my own screenshots, with the help of a few others of course

Maybe I should do that again.
This one was from Goreziad

Repetitive or not, that is still my new desktop background.

Nice shot, think you went a little ott on the flash however, kinda screams out quite a lot against the dark surroundings.

My version of the small explosion was better.

Can you also post a bigger version of the Leo with troops behind it on Yamalia? Was one of the first edits you ever posted.
