Those photos you can only see the rockets and door guns and crew rather than any dismounts. But according to the Marine aircrewman I quoted above, they can do it.

Having that version of the Y with the 2 miniguns and pilot controlled rocket pods would be so much f**king fun on jabal, cuda or muttrah.

Make it happen DEVs :p

With MG's such as the 240, will there be a "tripod" you can go to with a long set up, or will it only be the bipod like it currently is?

Not with any of the MMGs as handheld weapons at least.

Will the jeeps with the new GMGs be more limited compared to jeeps with HMGs?

Sorry if this has been brought up but I'm just curious. I took a break from PR between 09 and 2012 so I missed this article with R-DEV Rudd about Night versions of maps, he says, "..then I was involved with a serious effort to try and get night versions of maps working; however certain technical issues prevented that from working."

Is this still being looked into or have technical problems brought the project down? Having a night layer on maps would be a refreshing and fun experience so I'm hoping you guys are still experimenting with this.

I know but nothing with nightvision (like in Rudd's interview), nothing non-skirmish/non-mods at the moment. I'm talking big picture Burning Sands or something, with the city and it's street lights.

Why was the zip-line gun in Project Reality (Version: 0.85)?

I'm pretty damn sure it has never been in any official PR release... It was part of BF2 SF...

It's in the ninja kit :D but it really doesn't function well.

Devs are their plans to add maps with rain?

Rain is possible but it causes a lot of performance issues so we can't use it.

Why do all the cool things cause performance issues ? :(

Rain works pretty fine in FH2, no performance issues there. They have some cool sound effects too, like when you're close to a tank wreck for example, you hear some different sounds from raindrops falling on metal. That's just awesome :) .

What doesn't look so good is when you look up, the raindrops rotate with you, so you see horizontal lines falling down. But all in all, looks pretty fine.

All it takes is someone to create it and then test the performance. See what it's like.

Yeah but FH2 is different in terms of how it optimizes it's content.
