One part of the problem is CPU usage; Game gfx dont matter really, so the probrem lies somewhere else. Second one is 100p. Khamisyah worked pretty good with up to 70p, but then it became noticeable on the fps drop.

I probably should have mentioned that it's actually running on an NVIDIA GT 525M. Plus it lists the Nvidia driver.
And I'm pretty sure my support info never said anything about Creative Labs audio. I can go try and find mine from the beta, but it probably doesn't matter anyway.

Might just be me, but I thought I got a fairly decent performance bump after disabling "Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation" in Task Manager (apparently it can be a bit of a performance hog).
This is for newer versions of Windows supposedly.

I too have performance issues when i look where there are alot of people stacked up on the same spot. Performance issues which i did not have in 0.98 even with 128 on Fallujah.
Some people have said that it might be my low CPU clock, but I have over clocked it to 3.8 GHz, but that does not show on the system information bellow.

I don't believe it is a hardware issue, but a software issue. OCing if stable will only benefit you on other games that actually use to full potential of your CPU, this on the other hand isn't.

. Don't think Creative sound cards are the issue, because I'm running an X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty and I have zero issues.
I'm glad you have "zero" issues. However , as you can see many of the fans do. This needs to be fixed man. Don't turn into "one of those" dev teams.

Anyone else get this stuttering inside choppers in some maps? FPS literally drops down to 5-15 so flying is impossible, for example the chinese choppers on Black Gold.

Are you sure, I thought whatever was on that support info was what you were actually using?
I would have thought you guys are having a conflict with something, if someone who knows more than me could ask for everyone to post their task manager when PR is running would that be likely to see if there is some common area, like antivirus?

Because my system uses Nvidia Optimus, I'm pretty sure everything on the monitor is run through the Intel graphics card, but the video processing is still being done on the Nvidia card. That would be why it's listed under "display device". Also note that the listed driver is an Nvidia driver.
And the game runs fine/excellent on local servers with highest graphics settings. If that isn't evidence of using the Nvidia card then I don't know what is.

I was responding to PLODDITHANLEY's post about the X-Fi possibly being the source of issues, I don't think it is, as I have one and I don't have any issues.
Don't worry, we're well aware there's issues, and we're looking into it. But it can be difficult to track down what's going on when the majority of people don't seem to have any issues... Don't expect things to change over night, it's going to take time...

My FPS drops when I look towards a bunch of other players, either seen directly or hiding behind other objects. One root of the problem could also be the effects which players make (tracers etc.).
Again the problem is not the lack of GPU power, but rather CPU. One could buy a better processor, but this doesn't mean there is no problem within the game code.

Could the issue be within the server files? I don't know if you guys played Natural Selections 2 awhile ago but the game would run TERRIBLY (5 fps at times) near the end game when a base was being assaulted or something big was occurring. That said, it was the server who weren't able to keep up thus limiting the refresh of the client side program. Could the server not be powerful enough for this new update?
Also, Arma suffers from the same problem. If you play on high performance server and compare to a server hosted from a minimum requirement server on the same mission, you FPS will have a huge impact.

Most players don't have any issues ? Half the people I speak to in game or out say they have issues man. Hell , more than half. I'm not trying to be a ****. I know it takes time. However ,you guys need to be aware this issue is affecting much more than a few people. It just so happens not many are speaking out on forums. You go online in a match and people ***** non stop. All I have to do is type " Anyone have performance issues since 1.0" in game chat ..and wham- people start spamming the chat saying they do. I know you guys upgraded physics and FX. However , if I can play BF3 all ultra with vsync on with no issues.....then I should run this without even a hitch. I know it's an old engine. That's the only thing that would cause issues. However, not issues like this. I can play BF2 with no issue- same engine.

I have experienced way, way better performance after disabling "Windows Audio Device Graph Function" through task manager. Way better (honestly I think this could be the source of everybody's problems).
Unfortunately, disabling it means playing without sound. So two steps forward and one step back I guess

Am i the only one with lousy Performance, without maxing out *anything* (cpu/gpu etc.)?
People, please post where exactly your Bottlenecks are, what is hitting its Limit? The Cpu? the Gpu? Memory? Nothing as in my Case?.

Most of us are like that.

A lot of people have this issues, this is by far most commented on bugs thread since 1.0 came out. This forum represents maybe 10% of all the playerbase (probably less) and there's still loads of us with this problems. Think about how many players you lost when they tried PR, seen that it runs like
- control your anger, Padawan -, uninsulated it and went on playing BF3 in Ultra mode with no problems... Should be a priority task for the devs, right after Mumble and stability issues.

Take it easy fellas. We all feel a little set back by this. But that's all it is, just a set back. Though I agree those of us having performance issues (including myself) are not a small minority, the last thing we want is for this thread to be closed due to accumulated negativity. We actually need this thread if there is any chance of improving the performance. We need the devs on our side and they need us on theirs.

you say that in as if it isn't...if you don't make assumptions about us, I'll try and not make assumptions about you. Deal?
Don't forget there isn't a highly paid tech team working like squirrels on cocaine in the back of the PR warehouse, it's a bunch of unpaid random dudes with real lives who are working very hard, and each update has improved the situation since release. So using words like 'shit' is simply unacceptable.

Me too (if not all) have issues, be patient, they are aware of it, meanwhile we wait for the next patch make yourself an extra hot, no whip, white chocolate macchiato and relax, we're all in this together, wait for 1.0.36.0.
