Music
I noticed that while a lot of people like the music, a noteable ammount disagrees with the choice for this trailer, so, I thought I'd make a little post about why the music is perfect.
!!Lyrics may not be entirely accurate, but good enough to state my point!!
“May I remind you again… this is a dream… and in dreams, you can do anything you darn think!”
- That sentence is probably something in the nearance of what our Dev's told eachother before Day1
Time is running, it’s running on empty and the gas is running out.
I've decided that tonight is the night, that I, let love aside.
Full speed ahead, this seems to be the place, I've seen this once before.
Planned perfection, sought in my dreams, hoping this would take you home.
- Clearly state that they loved BF2, but that they wanted perfection.
My knuckles have turned to white.
There's no turning back tonight.
Kiss me one last time.
- They're in this, and there's no turning back now.
I will now bring new meaning to the word alone,
Endless nights, dreaming of life,
And the days we should have spent here.
- They will make BF2 much better, and give the community what DICE should have handes us from the beginning
It was a matter of time; I always said I could see.
But now I’m going blind,
- We always said that BF2 was great, but now we know we are blind.
It was a matter of miserable time, but I heard somewhere,
There was a cure for useless eyes
- This mod is a cure for our blind eyes.
You watched me like a 10-car highway wreck with detached, vulgar curiosity.
Us looking down on the tops of the hats of us passers-by from your seventh floor balcony.
And grew such a height we missed creatures too small for sight.
Carry on over conversation as the misguided insects; crown me their grasshopper king with a dance of celebration.
- This one is hard, but if I had to gues, let's just say it's about how DICE missed small detailes, and how we crowned them Kings, while ourselves being misguided
