What I'd like to see in 0.6:
  • Defibrillator works EVERY TIME you use it on a down and wounded player.
  • NEW pistol sounds for the British and SpecOps (P226N)
  • Fixed British Sniper Rifle Model (both 1st and 3rd person)
  • Entirely REDONE British Soldier Models so that they are actually on par with the Default Player Models from the other Factions
  • Lose the weird paisley green lump that is the British Kit Model, and replace with the default kit world model (if it ain't broke, don't fix it)
  • Fix the other small but very noticable bugs, problems and annoyances.
PLEASE. With cherries and whatever.

Spotter class:
:Knife
:Assault Rifle with open sights ( 4+1 Magazines) [GB L85A2 - SUSAT Sight / US M4A1 Carbine M68 Sight]
:Fragmentation Grenade x 2
:Smoke Grenade x 2
:Ammo Resupply Bag x 1
:Field Dressing x 2
:Spotter scope / Binoculars (Rangefinding)
:Ghillie suit ( Jungle Missions NOT Desert missions)

And to have a full Sniper Team put 3 Sniper kits and 3 Spotter kits...6 in a Team !!!

wonderfull , 6 lonewolf noneteamplaying idiots instead of 2 .
No , 2 snipers are enough for 32 man team . I'd better suggest to have even one per 32 man team ...

p/s please no more sniper oriented suggestions , please ...

No longbow* this thought is good because:
:It will put all the sniper/spotters in one team (more control for the commander)
:Sniper/spotter will NOT be working as a lone wolfs because they will be in a team!!!
:And 3 Sniper/Spotter kits is needed because have you seen the amount of people at the back flag waiting for the Sniper kit !!!!AND it may stop that from happening...

no comments ... it's impossible to argue with snipers :(
just one thingy you have to know : we have max number 32 player per team and you suggest to take away 20% for fucking sniping ( +2 marksmen , that also never do anything for team win ) ... brilliant

OMG, i had a HUGE post about suggestions...and i just lost it
so ill make it short, and be ready to explain myself...sorry...

1. any thought put into removing control zones, or changing them heavily? right now, insurgents are running around like a reg. army...
somehow get the US in control of the city, and the insurgents somehow spawn inside he US controlled zones in little pockets of a few guys... someting... It was a long explanation, sorry i lost it... ill explain more if anyone wants...

2. good soldier reward points. once again, i had a lost explanation... but the gist of it was.. to get soldiers to want to play as a team, and not just worry about how many kills they got... add, in addition to the death increasse in seconds, another 'formula' that takes seconds AWAY (dont hurt me eggman, plz) for having high team points. Like, the points you get for medicing and ammo giving, etc.
It wouldnt be taking off as many as the death adds, but just enough to make soldiers who play for the team and medic and give ammo, etc a pat on the back, while still maintaining the realism... to me, this doesnt take away realism... it would add teamwork.
I could explain more, but Ill wait to see if there are any comments...
once again, this is just a new idea I had rolling in my head... while i was mowing the lawn...

one lil' question, which may have been answered...
well, more of a wish.. civilians on the insurgent side cant pick up weapons...can they? if so... will they become killable without a penalty? just a little thing... sure you guys thought of it...
: )
happy days,
Okita

From what I've heard, it seems that these civilians can't pick up a weapon, but they can throw rocks at the US, heal wounded, repair vehicles and stuff.

I though it sounded like **** until I thought about it. Picture it---you're in a FPS MP battle sim. If the cards get played right, you won't die once. This can allow you to watch some really cool stuff, which will happen more often since the smacktard countermeasures continue to be developed.

Anyone who TKs should be forced to play civilian and repair/heal the team as punishment haha!

They'll be able to pick up insurgent kits but then they'll stop being civilians.

oh i'm excited too. and I new they had their own class items (rocks) But i was just hoping they had made sure they couldnt pick up a kit and kill someone... thereby making it VERY hard for the USMC
civi one second, insurgent next, you know? but like i said, im sure they thought about that

*edit*
oh god... i just rea the post above me... i HOPE to GOD that isnt true...
i see tons of civis waiting over a kit for the USMC by themt o move past, then sneak up on them with their brand new insurgent kit...

i think that will get exploited

i was hoping the civi class was going to be more of a "im just trying to live my life here in *insert country of choice*. I dont want to kill anyone, but im pissed off enough to throw rocks and help the men fighting for my freedom from you infidel ********"

War is hell; it's not like the insurgents need nerfing. Civilian one second, combatant the next; thaat's war in Iraq/Afghanistan.

My fear is that in clan matches and maybe even pubs someone will be elected to go civilian and guard the spawn car so that bnlowing it up would get the USMC big penalties.

i understand that.. i just think that if there are going to be civilians... they shouldnthave that option... that they should be there as rockthrowing, bandaging, guys that get in the way...

ill deal with it, but i know its going to be annoying as hell. Seeing a civi and getting the balls to walk past him and move on is gonna be a feat. i will always be looking over my shoulder : )

which, hell, it doesnt matter, ill still play PR and maybe looking over my shoulder will be a good thing... the squad mate in the rear can watch out for armed civis...

I personally already avoid maps with Insurgents involved anyways, if possible. That whole civilian class thing isn't going to increase my sympathy for that "army".

Yeah, you can get an estimate... but dont you dare ask when it will be out! :)
I read those posts, the ones about going to beta testing, and then a few weeks after release the client or whatever... thats still nothing more than a gameplan...

But asking for a release date?...sure, if you're suicidal...tsk tsk tsk... :)
