@ NickO:
Doesn't it look like HAT sniping on pictures 2-4?

That firebsase in west hills provided more use than you can think.

Drawing off enemy troops and resources, providing a vast open area for friendly HAT to hit enemy armour and support troops (HAT sniping my hairy butt!) Providing kits for HAT and sniper, providing occasional spawn for engineers to repair tanks (although I think I as commander was only one did that!)

If it was so mad, why don't you ask how many people exactly made use of it and thought it was useful, since I doubt you've ever seen one there before.

I personally know one doesn't work in east hills unless well SE, out of the hills and on the flats with slight cover protecting it, to allow for anti armour duties across that vast open area

hey! how did you know im a muppet? LOL :D i like the muppets, i was supposed to be the cookiemonster, but it was already taken, so i named myself to Toft112, and then i got kicked from the muppets show, so i started my own muppet show, which was called "THE MY-PET SHOW"
The show was erased from the planet earth about one hour before anyone noticed it... oh well...

eh? eh? are you responding to me??

I'm talking about the USMC firebase in the middle of the South Desert no where near any hills... the one that gets taken out by HAT in the screenies above.

First screenie of the APC getting taken out you can see me hiding behind the rock in front of the vodnik. I was holding back as a spawnpoint for my squad at West City when all of a sudden that APC came in from the west right along the street. I dropped behind that rock and told the other MEC SL's I had an APC ontop of me at West. Few seconds later I hear a massive explosion stick my head out... No more APC :D

QUICK 'n DIRTY Helmand thingy, containing loose shots from the Helmand round. It's like a "placeholder", until the EJOD Desert video is here.

Enjoy :)

Very good choice imo.
The mec on west city were badly outnumbered and that HAT gave us time to regroup again on the flag.

Personally I see nothing different from camping on a mountain side with a tank to HAT sniping and I accept it as a good way of keeping the enemy on their toes.
First, I was MEC myself.
Second, still I'm referring to this because for the sake of fairness and because on some servers HAT sniping isn't allowed.

If this rule however doesn't apply to the iGi password night, then fine. It's just important to know the rules in advance.

I can“t speak for eveybody, but I have no problem with H-AT sniping. As long as they do their main job aswell.
