If this is on IGI's Studio Server, are only IGI people allowed on it as it is passworded, or can i have the pass as would like to see what this is like on a real server with other people??

I had the same problem, but i've found the solution :

Try without selecting PB in the filters.

To do (in my opinion).

Lights in main base
Lights on bunker area entrances
Lights inside bunkers
Lights bunker area roads
Lights on burning oil
Light dots on air stripes & Helipads
Larger flashes when fireing
Possible removal of the NV black borders on choppers & tanks(?)
Flashing tracers when in NV

Well, if you do all this then you will make me sooo happy :-D .

Try copying and renaming your shaders_client.zip.backup to shaders_client.zip AND

copying and renaming your shaders_night_client.zip.backup to shaders_night_client.zip

JUST MAKE SURE YOU COPY i.e HAVE A BACKUP. I'm not sure if punkbuster won't kick you if you play on other servers with this done.

ranky is it possible to increase the glow effects on all the lights, such as explosions tracers and the oil fires? and overall increase the distance at which explosions can be seen?

I'm pretty sure you could increase the glow effects on lights etc but that would require the glows etc being edited/custom ones being made, and that goes way outside my field. As for the view distance of the explosions, fires etc yeah, I could edit the sky.con to allow for that, but you would have to accept that you're opening things up for potential gamma hacks if you do that.
