Edit: I changed AA back to x4 yesterday.
However, since I have a 19" wide screen that 1024*768 doesn't matters. Setting in the short cut for any BF2-mod is 1440*900 and the screen runs 75 Hz
Motherboard: MSI P35 Neo2-FIR
Processor: Intel Core2Duo E8400 3.0 GHz
Memory: Corsair XMS2 2 x 2048MB @ 800MHz
Videocard: ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB DDR5
Sound: X-Fi Extreme Audio
Monitor: LG L194WT-SF 19" Wide TFT

Yea, glad you changed it back to 4x AA. To anyone running 8xAA, you're really just wasting fps. There is little to no visible difference between 4x and 8x.
I play on an Olevia 37" monitor, so I can really see if there's a difference, and there really isn't any. 8800GTS 320mb btw...

Running boot camp and playing at 1920x1200 with all lighting options on low and no AA. Everything else on high. I'm averaging 45-70 fps on the larger maps.
2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, & 256MB Ati 2600HD super POS edition

Happy fragging.

Sorry to say this but your X800 pro destroys the 2400 xt. I can recommend you cheap yet powerful parts if you are interested in getting a new mobo + CPU + vid card & mem.

Just wondering,
How do you think my new Asus M50 VC Notebook will run PR?
Intel P8400 ~ 2.3GHz
2GB RAM
Nvidia 9300M 512MB Dedicated
What do you think?

Your processor is good but your video is not so good. You might be able to get acceptable framerates if you keep the resolution low (800x600), textures med.

Got a 3,2 Ghz, 1 gb RAM, GeForce 6600
Everything on low, except viewdistance (100% ALWAYS!) and effects (High) and terrain (medium)
I can always turn it up a notch, but I love the flow I got now

Dont know about the 6600 but if you were to get another gig of RAM it would really help. I had a low-mid range card x800 and had mostly mediums but once I got a second Gig of ram I could go almost all high...
Thats really advice for anyone with XP and one gig of RAM. Get another gig! The difference is really astonishing.
I didnt even upgrade my card, but it felt like it with all the graphics I could up.
I have since gotten a better card, but its still only an x1950 [ill buy a new one in a year maybe]
Not sure if Ive posted mine:
WinXP sp 3
3 Gigs of RAM
Dual 2.8Ghz proc
X1950GT 512 ATI card
1680x1050 Resolution
All things on High except Lighting and maybe terrain[maybe another as well]
I think I'm running only 2x AA in an attempt to get a few more FPS
Since .8 though I am getting about 25-30 FPS on most maps[.756 I was getting 60 it seemed....], with Korenal giving me 15-20 which is ridiculous... so I have to turn stuff down to go on Korengal...
Advice on getting more FPS? New g-card? Dropping certain settings? Which settings? :3
Thanks

Yeah, Korengal lags for me aswell. Have been trying to stay away from that map for this reason (not such a big fan of the Afghanistan-setting either).
2 gb RAM
Ati X1600 PRO
2 processors running - Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
Have been thinking about upgrading my system in order to run PR with "High" on everything.
What's the first thing I should replace?

How do you set it to 1920x1200 ?
Do you edit the shortcut or some other way?
My monitor can do 1920x1200 but the "game" only has 1920x1440 so I use 1600x1200. Would really like to increase that, many thanks.

Core 2 Duo E6600 OC @ 3.3Ghz
2x1GB 800Mhz DDR2 ram
ATI HD4870 512MB
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
Everything on high except textures, otherwise it starts stuttering.

Thanks
Amd Athlon x2 4000+, 2GB ram, 9800gtx
Settings:
Res 1280x1024
Terrain, Geometry and Textures on high
Effects, Light, Dyn light and Dyn shadows on medium
AA off
Texture fitering on low
View distance on max
Never goes under 50fps on any map.
(Try these settings if your on all high and get low fps, there isn“t a noticeble differens in picture quality but you will get a lot more fps)
