yes, right, but, thrust me, the MG-21 is a fine weapon, and with the mg3, the devs would actually only allow you to fire it lying, because, otherwhise it would be not controllable

Nice! but can you make it also deployeded on sandbags?[i think its hardcoded with bf2 engine but it wont hurt anyone be just asking...] anyway good job!

i'd hope there would be some penalties for the deployed mode like walking pace only, otherwise we'd have everyone running around depolyed and dolphin diving for contact - back to square one!

I think You can switch to deployed mode only when You are prone.

No, you could in theory run around in deployed mode. But lining up the ironsights takes quite long, and if they are not lined up you are less accurate than the shotguns are right now. It doesnt look like instraproning will be such a big problem.

Does the deployed mode give you a small lift from the ground due to the bi pod? If so it would nice, I hate laying down on those levels with the tall grass. I can never see unless I crawl into an open area.

im pretty sure "deployed" means u stay in same spot. (probably proned too)

It takes 1.5 seconds to zoom in while deployed, and after that if you move it'll be another 1-2 seconds before you're dead on.

You can't sight in or fire while standing in deployed mode, if that's what you're asking.

I dont thik its enough, what about instaprone ? I think that 90% of auto riflemen will run around in deployed mode and just hit prone when encounter enemy. I think that we should be able to deploy bipod only in prone position.

As far as I know we havn't found a way to have a weapon selectable only in prone.
