BTW, whats up with the 10-round-burst for the Apache 30mm cannon? I watched documentary on the Apache and the engineer said the "it's" (firing rate, something like that) set on ALL (you know that I mean, CAS).

It can be set (not inflight i think) to 5, 10 and auto, etc. However, if you watch most apache videos online, look at the bottom right, there is usually a ammo counter once the gunner uses the 30mm. You'll see it deplete 10 rounds at a time, which means that during operations in Iraq or Afghanistan it is usually set on 10rnd burst mode with every trigger press.

Another thing I noticed though is that in most gun cam videos, the Apache only carries about 300rnd of ammunition, while its official max ammo capacity is 1200. I'm curious, maybe we should set the ammo count to 300 as well for the apache. I don't know the reason behind this, perhaps it is more practical to increase fuel carrying load and reduce weight than haul a bunch of ammo that you'll never use up. Or maybe it can't carry 1200 rounds after 8 hellfires and 38 hydras. Idk. Maybe a military adviser can answer this.

The cannons burst size has to be set on the ground.

I watched a lot of apache vids, they all start with 300 or under 300, which means that some have been fired.

Dunno, the engineer said it's set on ALL in most cases.

For some reason, Combined Arms seems to messed up PR.
When I play PR, there is no music and when I try to play Training mode, when kashan loads, I get a CTD.

Any help?

I believe I saw the same vid as you, in which case he seemed to say that it's set to firing the entire load. If that's what he means, then I believe he was also either grossly exaggerating the frequency of it's use or making a funny. I just can't see the need for a 1200 burst mode anyways

You misunderstood him, I think. He said it's set on all, so the gunner could shoot as many rounds as he want. Maybe he wants to shoot 26 rounds not 30.

I think its generally set on all, although it has the ability to be set on other modes.

Either is realistic, maybe we should change it back, I don´t know yet. Most videos seem to suggest a 10 round burst is common though.

When can we have another CA night? I really want to give this mini- mod a try
