Back to topic, please.
I'm pretty sure both the AK-74 and G3 scopes allow for use of the weapon's iron sights (and I think we've seen the AK-74's in action in some video).Wheres_my_chili wrote:About the back up iron sights. Say that if the gun doesnt have any, like the ak 74 scoped or the g3 scoped, will we still be able to just look down the barrel andmake a sort of makeshift sight or will the buis just be disabled?

Why do you need ACOG if you should either hide or cover the back of your squad?ghostfool84 wrote:Will the medic got a choice to take a weapon with ACOG and BUIS? Or other kits that are unscoped now like Specialist or HAT. Because when not it could be quite boring if you cant see the enemys cause Binos will be removed to....
You can be medic, that is hiding at the back of your sq, and being bored, or you can be Combat Medic, leading your team for to victory, driven by lust for money and power.Unhealed wrote:Why do you need ACOG if you should either hide or cover the back of your squad?
Medic should stay alive no matter what, so being bored is a medic's destiny.![]()

I would guess that the BUIS is just the normal iron sights on said guns because IRL the scope mounts do allow you to look down the iron sights if you wanted to. (or at least the scope mounts I've seen for the G3 and AK)Kothra wrote:I'm pretty sure both the AK-74 and G3 scopes allow for use of the weapon's iron sights (and I think we've seen the AK-74's in action in some video).
Can you explain? I'm not sure what you mean by a "friend zone."emmanuel15 wrote:what should i do if i have entered the friend zone and any tips to get out of it?
I think he's talking about "a girl problem"[R-DEV]AFsoccer wrote:Can you explain? I'm not sure what you mean by a "friend zone."
A medic is a soldier and not a Civilian, and he should be able to fight like the other soldiers. He should take care of not getting shot or hit, but every soldier should do that. The Medic is an essential part of the squad and i hope this role will not get sometimes more boring as it is now, especially on big maps when the combat range is big. Without a scope or binos you are just able to sit in a hole and wait until someone gets hurt.Unhealed wrote:Why do you need ACOG if you should either hide or cover the back of your squad?

Btw British(not sure) and German(99% sure) medics will have a scoped weapon and BUIS in 1.0, maybe some other factions too.
My decision is to take a medic kit from player like you before he get's shot by the tank/tow/apc/whatever and make his kit unreacheable.Takeda wrote:You can be medic, that is hiding at the back of your sq, and being bored, or you can be Combat Medic, leading your team for to victory, driven by lust for money and power.
Decision is yours![]()
He is able to fight just fine right now, I can't really remember a situation when I needed a scope as a medic, if enemy is too far away just smoke everything and start getting your men up. In fact scope in a current version will only hurt since it really sucks in CQB and medic is all about CQB like I said already.A medic is a soldier and not a Civilian, and he should be able to fight like the other soldiers.
Yeah it's boring to play as a medic, but adding a scope, supressor, shotgun, grenade launcher and crossbow to his kit is really a bad solution to that problem. The Medic is an essential part of the squad and i hope this role will not get sometimes more boring as it is now, especially on big maps when the combat range is big.
