Is it just me or does the green used for the woodland variant seem a bit off?

Possibly but its the same green texture currently used on the tents so all the tents in Qinling etc use that colour.

Any chance we can see the old school L85 in some more kits? :D

Very very nice. I love the idea of bleeding a Mainbase out of bounds!

And the new maps you allude to!

intresting... How about adding logos on the side of the tent like a red cross to state that it is a tent that can heal you or ammo tent so that you can get ammo inside. Just saying.
Would be an interesting concept to have the medic tent. That means people can be Medevac from the combat zone and RTB to be healed. Or have a FOB be able to build a medic tent as well so a medevac or ambulance is able to send the critically injured players away from the battle zone.

It needs to be a duller and more forest-y green

There is no real need for medivacs currently as the BF2 enginge can't accurately represent them and the redeployment features (spawning mechanics) don't afford much value to them. (However, I'm not opposed to ever calling for or being called to an extract point, I just don't see much utility to it) And anyways the Repair/Rearm depot in every main base affords a healing platform anyways.

I just had an idea but I'll wait till the embargo is down ^^

Adding a red cross onto a tent is an interesting idea for one or two tents but looking though my refs I can only find one tent like that and it isn't in the same format but I'll ask the MAs and see what they think, but not sure if its even worth the performance costs tbh.

From a gameplay POV thou, having "medevacs" is something we have talked about before and isn't really workable when for one, a medic can fully heal you in the field and you can only stop "bleeding" if you get healed above a certain level so even if you did manage to get a bleeding player in a chopper and lifted back to base, he would have bled out way before the time he reached main and we can't change the healing process etc to make medevacs worth it due to the way the BF2 engine works.

The only real time this would be worth it is if a pilot (+ possibly passengers) of an aircraft where hit in flight and then they could return to main to heal, that's providing they don't bleed out on the way.

also having a deployable medical tent would be very easy to exploit and these tents are way to big for that kind of job.

Indeed.

Meh I tried. Would be interesting to see the red cross in one of them. Gives me something to do while in base while I wait for transport I guess. :)

I don't see why a tent needs a red cross in order for you to jerk off in it :p

Anyways the MAs have said its not very common or realistic:

Very nice.

The woodland tents could much rather use a couple of stoves than an AC system.
