i made an alternative "fire"-key and programmed a macro which starts and stops by pressing it... when shoveling i can do some ohter usefull stuf - for example offtopic offtopic offtopic spam spam ...

Doing the Auto-Shovel from time to time but only when I am alone, cause otherwise it just isn't worth the trouble.
Developing an automatic shovel function is not needed in any way though...imho.

Either it is others helping you, then it is fast anyway or it is you alone for the team.

Cool saying: Das Auto-Shovel. And yes, an auto-function would be useful. Not only because it is boring to shovel-clicking tons of times, but also because when your commanding then team, you have to tell others to do the boring stuff, adding a non-useful emotional linkage to the CO-function. At least that's how I have always felt, cause in some plans, the shovel stuff needs as few players as possible, since as many guns as possible are needed elsewhere. So someone always get that boring job.

You're selling this to a crowd of ppl that believe holding a button down is hard work....

I had to laugh at the pen/cellphone trick, with a little creativity you could prop anything with a little weight onto your mouse button....but that's a lot of thinking and looking around, probably have to even move my arms and possibly stand up....wish there was some way to automatically do all that......

You want to shovel a FOB without having to hold down the LMB? There's an App for that.

I think the shovel should get its own commo rose. Deploy PR-bot. Activate auto-shovel.

I build a rickety pile of objects over the mouse button and I read a book while the fob is building up.

Uhm... Well what I do is, I start shoveling and hold the mouse, then I press my xfire in-game hotkey while still holding the mouse, then you could release the mouse and go get a drink, it will still shovel

I haz my own auto shovel.

This is the idea of Kings. We could also make a boxercise video to go with it.
