How to set up a IED ambush correctly?

Its probably been said, but a good way of targeting enemy light vehicles is by using the simple Rope-a-Dope method.

Place a mine in plain sight on the left hand side of the road

Hide an IED slightly further back on the right hand side of the road

Enemy sees the mine, goes around it, drives right over the IED

Ka-Blammo, enemy is down


Worked numerous times for me, preferable to do it within view distance of a high rise, which you can sit on and wait for a Vehicle to drive over it. Remember to mark the mine though, last thing you want is a friendly vehicle to drive over it, although it will probably still happen.
