They fixed the regeneration, its fine now in .97
In the game u play a well trained soldier who is used to running, not a fat man used to playing computer games.
A soldier even in sweden is supposed to run 2km easily with full gear ffs, (which btw is half of kashan desert i think? 4km right?). If anything they should increase the stamina.

These are two tests soldiers have to make to pass the qualification to become Coastal Rangers.
5.2km run with 20kg gear, with some obstacles to get through. Must pass within 42 min. This equals a 7.3km/h average

6.2km run 20kg gear, through rough terrain. Must pass within 40 min. This equals a 9.75 km/h average.

PR soldiers run at 12km/h
PR soldiers sprint at 21 km/h
PR soldiers can keep a 17.14 km/h average... forever.

So yeah.. it is pretty unrealistic.

in real life, an army guy can sprint for at least 2km, with gear. Even in sweden.

No.. i don?t know anyone who can sprint for 2km. Even in the olympics, 200m runners have to pace themself .

If you mean that Swedish soldiers can run for 2km then sure. Just read what i wrote ;)
6.2 km in less than 40min with 20kg gear. That is almost a 10km/h average, the same running speed PR soldiers used to have.
My point is that PR soldiers are constantly running. Through forest, high grass, bushes, sand ,uphill, downhill and up and down in stairs without ever getting tired.
And now thanks to the superregeneration pace, PR soldiers can do it in a 17.14km/h average :cry:

This is what all that gear can do to you..(and i doubt that any of these soldiers even reach a 12km/h maxspeed let alone the PR sprint of 21km/h)

instead of walking mindlessly for hours you can reach the hotzones faster and not spend half a round walking around getting bored

also dont forget that jumping takes away a lot of stamina in real life you dont tire out after jumping 3 times

man dont focus on the speed,

there is walk and run

and in real life u probably could run at least half the total distance of kashan desert. (2km)
So if it was real the stamina should be enough to do at least that, but maybe not at that speed ok.

Gameplay gets better since u can get places by foot faster. So for example it may be worth walking if ure far out in the desert instead of just suiciding and respawning closer.
And it may be okay to walk to the front when the team has no transports in main base, instead of finding another server lol.

You still dont get it..
What you call walk (holding down w-button) is actually a run (12km/h).
What you call run (w+shift) is the sprint (21km/h).

Get it right.
You can run 2km in PR.

Gameplaywise..
It just feels silly and arcadish to have superpowers in game trying to potrait realism.
I like teamwork and being dependent on teammates to get transport, setting up FOBs and helping you with other types of support. If your team fails, you go down with it.
Thats the way it should be..

Now you can just run to a flag. Fight a squad. Get wiped out. Spawn at main. Run back to the flag. Kill remaining enemies who are still reviving their buddies.

forget about the speed. When i walk in pr i feel like its a realistic speed, the same applies to running, thats all that matters. And i want to be able to run much.

sounds a little extreme dont u think?

the regeneration is fine, the game gets a little faster, which is great. Its not arcade-ish, and i dont feel like the characters have super-powers.

if anything the walking/running faster helps a ton gameplay wise

more time for battles less time for walking

I like it... It's way more realistic. But I hate how it takes energy when you jump.
