MY HERO! The last one is so EPIC!

lol, I didn't need that last photo in my Facebook newsfeed. :/

Anyway how about a "Community Modding Watch", where you have one page about one or two cool things from the community modding forums.

For example, that epic van that altfuture has been making.

I'd like to announce that I'm no longer having any work obligations, so I am again completely free to do what I want! That basically means I will start to work full-time on the van.

Ok, now onto the update!!


+ Added interior with texture baked from 1p model
+ Added specularity and normal maps
+ Added windows
+ Added sandblast
* Fixed bad texture seams on the back
* Canvas on the roof is now a simple rug
* Changed side texts to be handwritten, larger and more chaotic
* Made mud less strong


Left to do:

- fix some bugs on the baked interior
- tweak specular and normal maps
- finalize terrorist version
- finalize woodland version
- finalize civil version

So we're looking in to what to write for next month. If you want to hop in for an article, let us know Or just send some screens or artwork thats cool 2. Almost all the ARMA screenshots in the mag where taken by the community.

if you ever feel the need, you could probably embed a video into the PDF file. Or at least links to certain videos on youtube or stuff

Nice idea. I've been playing around with that idea as well but never tried anything. It would be something I hope is possible. Making the magazine more modern and using the ability of the web

Well I just found out about this thanks to Wh33lman and a slow round of Fallujah West Co-op. I must say it was a nice read and I'll be on the look at in the future for more Reality Contact.
