Why would I play on a server where people don't speak English? There's no good reason for that.

What's wrong with Russian servers? Their style of play, and the fact that they don't speak English. What's wrong with Chinese servers? My ping is 500 on them. He's asking us which servers we would recommend him. Would I recommend him playing on a server that I've never played on before because my ping is 500? No. Would I recommend him a server with horrible gameplay and lack of English-speakers? No.

Would not use the phrase "boycott", but I want to avoid it since I enjoy teamwide teamwork, on NwA it's good if you get squad-wide even, and what comes to "No there aren't". Yes there is. You should try them sometimes, Pelitutka as for one example

NEW, PRTA or SISU for me. TG when its/I'm up.

I would say NwA, but i`d like to give a big +1 to [NEW] played there a few nights ago and had some great rounds.

TG when I come home from the pub and our server has died off due to being early AM in the UK.

128 not my thing may give it a try soon, Now Wicca and the PRTA admins have there hands on it. Was too much like run and gun before.Now im hearing nothing but good news from them. Tempting oh so tempting.

I haven't played in NEW. And I see some of english speaking people recommending it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't NEW a german speaking server? That is, lots of german chat in chat or mumble SL? Theoretically it would drive me nuts (I understand a little bitl pf german, but not close enough to speak and understand).

It was great before imo what I've heard is that PRTA admins are having loads of troubles there, but this is only hearsay

Excellent 116p games for three evenings and nights in a row. Map Pack was played on Saturday right after files were released ~0115CET -->.

Admin procedures have been clarified and admins sorted out a bit. One admin acting inproperly was removed (probably the one being the reason for most complaints).

Personally, i prefer PT ('cause finnish), SISU (when 116p), PRTA1, NEW and NWA.

A lot of people here make it sound as if those who play on one server are never seen on a different one. Players will be attracted to the most active servers, and from there the admins make or break the servers name. I could point out servers which have quite friendly communities but are less active, and others who are populated but have horrible administration policies.

The same players you find in HOG can be found in Hardcore as well as the Sisu server, it's about who your friends are and where they frequent first and then the server qualities second.

There are excellent servers with friendly players in both Europe and North America don't stick your head in the sand and say "HOG is the only server for me", besides fighting for the same couple dozen blocks gets quite boring don't you think?

Guys, relax. I don't think that fighting about which server is good and which is bad leads to anywhere. I started the thread just to know which servers to avoid.

The players in the servers make or break the game IMO. Well there are also alot of other obvious things that might cause problems. But who is SLing and who is playing is the most important IMO.

Hope you find a server that fits your need

Avoid =]H[=, their admins are children.

I got permanently banned the other day on Karbala for calling out a squad of =]H[= players because 6 of them formed a squad named "KIOWA" and proceeded to take every HMMWV and a Logi into the city, lost all of them, and when the Kiowa spawned, they all raced to main to fly it, leaving everyone else to wait for vehicles to respawn.
