The team's seen this many times before and it always hits the same conclusion. We'll do without shiney things to (1) ensure the work's ours as a legitimate team, and; (2) not get sued so point 1 means nothing as we have to remove all access online anyway.

Sometimes, after 5 years of wanting attention from the team, the attention is their downfall when they pretend work is theirs and it's not, or they have lied in some respects.

The map needed serious work to ever be part of PR and tbh, Joe never cared much at finishing it off as we gave him the chance, in fact we gave him a bunch of chances but he blew each and every one of them.

lol, even if we wanted to stoop that low, we don't have the man power/motivation to finish off other peoples maps, when are mappers are much more interested in finishing off there own maps. TBH I would rather make the map from scratch with the same sort of plan than finish off his map as I could make a much better base with much fewer issues and spend the same amount of time making the map from scratch, than fixing his one off and have a better result...

Fair enough. I personally don't see the issue taking his work when he was working under an alias and known to be plagiarizing, especially when its providing a great map to hundreds of people.

Nonetheless its a moot point if what you're saying is right. Frankly all the screenshots looked awesome, what were the issues with it?

Mainly lots and lots of basic errors, if you saw the kinda feedback I gave to CRF on Korengal here in post #118: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f354-c ... post653831

Well say that sorta thing, x50 (keeping in mind that this is a 4km map, Korengal is a 1km map,
so its 15 square kms more than korengal to go over)

Frankly if any of you guys want to finish his map, your welcome to but you would need his permission first, but tbh, I would recommend you make your own map rather than finish his...

Wasn't it kinda joint venture with Fuzzhead? So with the removal of Joe its future lies with Fuzz as to who would finish it?

Would be nice as another 4km map that the harrier could feature on
