Your actual problem would be if that line says resolution of game is bigger than your screen supports, and refresh rate is bigger or lower than your screen can handle.

If you have multiple profiles you might need to go trough all of them.

Actually you should go trough profiles with numbers like 0001, 0002, 0003, not this one

Search for the file "x:\where you installed it\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Settings\Profiles\Default\video.con"

My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\video.con"
"My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0002\video.con"
"My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0003\video.con"

Finally fixed it.

I forgot to update the driver for the built-in graphics chipset on motherboard...
