crashtheface wrote:thanks so much for providing me with this fix, hopefully it works so i can uninstall autohotkey (it doesn't play nice with BF3, but I don't know how much more of BF3 I will be playing after finding this beautiful mod)

Also These servers are showing a max of 64players, Do servers exist that have more then 64 players? I remember seeing a video on the Vietnam Mod, running a game of 100v100
BF3 is better, this one is pretty nice still though

***Edit*** For some reason mumble isn't letting me connect to the PR server? perhaps someone could provide me with the server details so that I may be able to verify mine are correct.

***EDIT 2*** Wow, I'm feeling slightly retarded... Just needed to update mumble

Yes there is one server with more than 64 players slots. Normally it's 128, it was uped to 200 one time for Project Normandy.

Sometimes the server goes up every weekends.

Also check my signature, a PR Developper did a mini-mod for PR, based on WW2 landings. It's not played right now but there is events related to it, always fun to have it ready. Also we will update it soon so players will actually fill the servers :)

Also I realised how PR is ready to get new players, all the tutorials and help are there :D

If you need anything, you can ask me on xfire, and most of the time I can help, or refer you to someone that can.

Hey, welcome to PR :D Make sure you have PRMumble v1.0 installed and not Mumble v0.5 from the PR installer. It helps out a lot when playing and really adds to the immersiveness.

Been playing for the past few days and oh man, getting the hang of it slowly but surely... this is hands down the best thing I have ever played.

this is how I felt the first few rounds...
http://i.imgur.com/hURca.jpg

the best part of this game... everyone's willingness to take on noobs like me, and man do they love teaching you new things. I just played a game were my squad leader had me take a grappling hook and set up a rope for us to climb to the top of a TV station. Watching everyone climb my rope after deploying it had to be the coolest experience I had in a video game ever. After stating that to my squad, they hastily assured me that experiences like that are bound to happen more then I can imagine, and are even going to get way more extreme.

thanks guys appreciate it, having a shitload of fun playing this tactful game.

Wait until you take down an apache with a HAT kit or are part of a co-ordinated attack on an objective with the whole of your team, experiences like this dont come from your standard game...

Have to disagree.
Sure in organized matches and big events the chance of experiencing something like that is higher but most of my epic moments happend during a random public round.
And thats something I love about PR.

Hey Organized matches are fun too Bloody! :P

If you want some more immersion, stick by TART - Teamwork and Reality Tournament And signup for a tournament with 128 players. Dedicated Squadleaders Grunts and Commanders.

They play a battle every other weekend. So if you want a steady group this is not a clan but a way to "step" up your game and get into the real shit :D

Well, it's no CAS there on Yamalia (that map), that's still an EPIC highlight, having CAS, and heavy vehicles, tanks, too... ;) so u can shoot ur Hellfire/Laser-guided-bomb/-missile/HE-tank-shell into a whooooole 12-men squad running around somewhere like chickens.... aaaaaand... BOOOOOM, here we go, "12 (twelve) BF2 :P R corpses flying around"-animation... xD xD xD so much LOL to experience sth. like that, complete 12-men squad wiped out, sth. like that is always funny...
Okaaaay, maybe also lighting them up with the APC turret and HE ammo is fun, but more fun are all the things I mentioned before... :P

OOOooooh yeah, raping a whole bunch of Vietcong from ur Huey-gunship as co-pilot with gatling or in trans-huey with side-M60.... rattattattattatta (M60)... or "wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt!!!" (gatling :P )

Ey DEVs, btw u MUST use this https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... ost1761592 awesome post to make more players get into PR too!!! :)

EDIT:
Wait until you take down an apache with a HAT kit...
That's the most lame/stupid/trolling thing to do in PR, actually, since a GOOD PILOT would NEVER hover COMPLETELY at one and same spot, a GOOD pilot would have some speed while hovering so u canNOT hit him! ;)

Fail pilots get HATed, deal with it and stop hovering so low and predictably then maybe this wouldn't happen.
