If the destroyed humvee has a tank following it/near it, then it is not so fine.
HAT does have a pretty long reload time and deploy time.
Every shot wasted = lots of time for tank to kill the guy with HAT kit and proceed to roll over the rest of his team for a long time.
As far as realism goes; only really bored/stupid U.S. soldier would use heavy AT for massive overkill(those are free in PR but quite expensive in real life).
I am sure by now everyone realized the importance of HAT kit(especially when there is only one on the team) and how much wasting a shot can cost the team.

Jesus Christ for the love of all that's holy, why can't you understand that he meant that most can't hit a Humvee sized target at 350 3 times in a row. It was an example of the relative ineffectiveness of the German and Russian HAT kits. He didn't mean that he would use a HAT to engage a Humvee.

Signature is made for that reason. And yours is more annoying(that orange).
And my point is that
HAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE USED FOR SHOOTING SMALL TARGETS AT THAT DISTANCE ANYWAY(unless in your little world humvee is actually bigger than MBT). It is like saying sniper rifle cannot do full-auto and has huge movement penalty on deviation so it is pointless because it is less effective in CQB...
It is supposed to be effective(and it is) at its intended role and less effective in others; otherwise everyone should get this weapon because it is best at doing everything. If you ever looked at Soviet anti-tank defensive formation; RPG-7 is the
LAST line(SPG-9 is in front of it, and ATGM/tank cannon even further) of defense against vehicles.
They are
perfectly fine at the distance they are supposed to work at.
The real problem is the model of Russian AT, not effectiveness; it should have been something like RPG-29.
RPG-7 is equivalent of LAT at best; thus it was compensated with having two rounds instead of only one.
I am not going to mention Germans because I do not know as much about ze Germans.

Seriously guys, if you want to continue this discussion, do it via PM. The points of both of you have been noted by the forum community. Removing the last few posts due to them being off-topic fighting.

How about employing portable variant of "Metis M" ATGW for Russian Faction?

Nevermind.

He means replacing the tandem warhead RPG with the Metis, not the TOW. That's one hell of a change, and it is possible, FH2 has the portable deployable mgs and Alpha Project made a Mk.19 that works the same.

Metis allows to shoot from the shoulder.
http://warfare.ru/db/catid/261/linkid/1663/
"The system allows delivery of fire in the prone position from organized and deployed sites, firing from the standing foxhole position
as well from the shoulder, and carrying the ATGM system in packs, with pack No. 1 containing the launcher and missile in the firing attitude and pack No. 2 accommodating two Metis-M missiles."

I will sum up this whole thread in one sentence that has been known since it was introduced.
Sight on Russian HAT is broken, please fix it.

Metis M if we want a change RPG 29 is also cool (or maybe left click for metis M right click for RPG 29 or normal RPG-7 WITH scope) but if no changes are planned post a nice little guide on how to use the markings cuz the markings if properly used in tandem with a squad leader marker will lead to the damn thing being overpowered.
P.S about the humvee thing and not hitting with HAT you never know what the situation demands living to find more ammo is sometimes better than dying and saving it. If an apc happened to appear behind the humvee out of the blue after you fired HAT well shit happens, you either would've gotten killed by humvee and not killed any1 or by apc and killed humvee

how will it become OP, since you have to be 100m from the target, and beyond that the SL marker works in increments of 50m, itll still be worse than any guided HAT

Just you.
Since RPG-7 has accuracy nerfed, scope does not really help.

I right click the HAT to get the scopeless version when playing as Russia, on the rare occasion I take a HAT over simply building a TOW emplacement and a firebase. The scope is such a low power that it offers no advantage over iron sights really ingame and the iron sights make it easier to track/engage moving targets.
