no patch cuz we realised that so much had changed it wouldn't really have saved much file size but would have created a lot more work for the dev and testing team.

the seeders we have are all very high speed, and there's a good number of them .. so hopefully download speeds will pickup for folks.

Direct Download links will come. However myself .. I am a *very* strong proponent of Torrents. It's a much better way to distribute things such as mods and the like. Bandwidth costs money and spreading the cost of that around while at the same time generally increasing download speeds is good for everybody.

And there's really no excuse for not having a torrent client .. they have matured now to where they are dead easy to download, install and use and typically they don't have any unusual security requirements or issues.

I've just downloaded Azureus for this, only I'm not sure of what exactly I'm doing...

I've a 1.1Mbps ADSL connection, apparently, and Azureus shows ETA times jumping from 11hours to 1Day-10Hours...

No it's a .exe file, just save it to desktop and open it once the download's finished, it'll install itself, just like a patch...

(I'm correct, right?)

I have a question, the downloadsize is 1.61 GB but in the openingspost it says 1.7 GB, I hope it's the correct file I'm downloading?
