I concur, then we'll shackle him to seatless chair and force him to make more CQB maps.

Just some questions about Mumble that hopefully someone can answer!

My headset is on it's way so I haven't set it up yet, but will game sounds such as explosions and gunfire come through my headset? because i'd rather those noises came through my speakers and just players voices came through my headset? Is there an option?

Also I was wondering do I have to de-install the mumble that was installed when I got PR and just have the 1.0 version? Or doesn't it matter?

Thanks in advance

Everybody to hell and back would hate you for having sound coming out of speakers. That sounds horrible when you speak as the mic picks up the explosions, gunfire and other people takling, with a delay, so then you get feedback and everything goes to hell. :D

It's not that awful with push to talk and the speakers on reasonable volume, my headphones stopped working ages ago (not the mic, though, which is why I still use the headset device), and I've only had people complain about echo in Skype where I don't use push to talk.

Ahh its a shame because the game sounds incredible through my speakers and subwoofer!

Is push to talk on as default? I also bought a noise cancelling mic so i dont know if thatll help cut out unwanted noises?

Its probably a bit harder to get mumble as line-out on headphones and actual game as line-out on speakers. Its is easly done by line-in headphones, line-out speakers. PTT makes it less of a problem, but its still.. breaks immersion even. Youre in a firefight, when the guy next to you speaks and you hear the sounds of the battle over his speakers and its just meh...

Hitman, if you have the money, go for good set og... possibly 5.1 headphones... two flies in one swat, you wont bother people and the sound will be even better as from speakers, since its in your head so to speak.

I am a picky guy so what im saying is worst case scenario. Spec didnt have any problems so far so all is not lost. Even if you were in my squad i wouldnt kick you, id just suck it up as i did numerous times at the cost of degrading my experience a bit.

Yeahh, True!
I'll probably just have it all come through my headphones like you said it probably will be more immersive. Also I don't want to be ruining the game for guys like you!
Thanks for the reply though!
