So reading through this I have a suggestion:

Could you do the same thing you have done with the skytrains in the paradrop mission with the p-51s? As in have them fly from the allies side of the channel and over the map as if going to attack the Germans behind their lines?

I dont mean having them strafe or anything, just having them fly over the ships and over the beachhead to give a little more immersion, since I believe allies planes helped during the initial landings....no source so, just pulling it out of my *** XD

You could even do this is the stuka or the 109s, having them either just fly along the beach or if possible, having them actually strafe the same area over and over!

Sorry, just having a nerd moment playing Medal of Honor Frontlines -.-

These planes can be used as Area Attack, why not?

You call them and at about 1 or 2 minutes you can see the planes dropping bombs and strafing.

Because we will use the planes to be controllable on planes maps, simply, like in PR, players use the planes.

It's possible, sure. If someone could hand me the code, I'm sure we can put it to good use.

I'm not spending time on this myself though, got so many other things to take care of.

Nice, it'll be awesome.

I was thinking here, in Operation Overlord was any kind of air support by both sides? Because we could make something like this :

When all the beach CPs are captured, like you did with that boat in which spawns the american cars and trucks, you make a aircraft carrier, to the Germans, you can add a airstrip.

No, no. There will be no airplanes on the Overlord map.

Overlord is way too small for airplanes, there is only like 1km^2 of land

But the WW2 planes can't go fast as the newer jets do.

but they still go fast imagine the vietnam map, Ia Drang valley, with the skyraider the map is wayy too small for that plane, and it is just one plane, now imagine 6 or 4 planes on Ia Drang valley fighting each other and providing cas to the infantry, it will be a pain in the *** for the pilots. As soon as they take off they would be raped.

OP Overlord is smaller than IA Drang, 1/2 of it is water.

yea but planes can fly over the water, I was talking about the real dimensions of the map, not only where the firefight takes place.

Sorry, but Overlord just won't have airplanes. They will completely mess up the gameplay.

I do want airplanes featured on a map, but we need someone to make a decent map for them.

The A-1H in PR:V currently is too fast in scale with the other jets speed. In PR:F its much slower and the new A-1H code (+ other fixes) will be in the next PR:V release hopefully :)
