Effects on 50%
Voip on 100%
Music on 10%
I have my headset on 60% of the volume (I use the Gamecom headset, very B.I.G)
I also take of my headset when firing heavy weapons sometimes to make sure I don't blow up my ears.
I still need a good way to hear people in tanks and helicopters though.

The equaliser enhancement and the do nothing option seemed to work pretty well! I could hear distant things pretty good and the mumble/voip was ok'ish to hear. A lot better than before. Thanks for those tips.

Haha i find that so funny. You are playing on really low sound volume and still think its to much xD
The playstyle i'm using in PR is 100% dependent on maximum volume, My headset,PC and PR is maxed out all the time. The only downside with this is that i have the radio com bug...

I've reduced system volume to 50% for all applications when using headphones.

Watch out with doing that tho! I'm not kidding when I say I have ringing ears. I don't go to concerts or go out to clubs with loud music. PR was the only game I played a for a few years with a headphone. My PS3 just used the TV speakers. So it could only be my gaming habit that could have caused the ringing.

the biggest problem is playing with headphones is while your in a vehicle, its way too loud, my ingame is at 80% and headphones are at 60%, still its too loud inside a vehicle, you cant hear your self think.
also having headphones that have sound cancellation will destroy your ears while gaming, for example the g35

I got voip @ 100%, game sounds on 40% or so. Too hard to hear people otherwise.
Using speakers of course, you have to
feel that bass!

I play with SteelSeries Siberia V2 Full-Size Gaming Headset, it's nice but slightly too small and presses the ear stems of my eyeglasses into my ears.
I am using a Gateway Desktop Mobo with onboard Realtek Azalia ALC8XX onboard audio chipset.
I keep PR in game sounds at 100%. Music at like 20%.
In Windows , Volume Mixer, Playback Devices, I put PRMumble and TS at 90% of Master volume, I put PR.exe at 100% of master volume, and I put Master Volume at 18%.
I also use the Reatek HD Audio Sound Manager to turn ON Sound Equalization, and customize the audio filters to increase the Treble so I can hear PRmumble/TS better and (Especially) footsteps in PR.
I've given up all my PR audio secrets young grasshopper, now I must set off into the sunset.
