We are following a tight as possible timetable with adjustable end. Grunt signups will open, alongside Officer signups if need be, on 24th. First battlecycle will begin first next Monday we hit minimum crew for both teams. Tell all your friends to hop aboard and we will start before the Moon is full.

I hope there will be a rooster of all SLs, so I see, for example, if I join Spades as Inf, who will be my SL.

Re: TART - The Return of the War
I am afraid not, we basically have admins placing people into teams, where commander then splits them into squads, where lastly SL takes a hold of you. You can try to see the active members or usergroups on who SLs there are.DoRn wrote:Awesome!

Re: TART - The Return of the War

The core leadership has been placed within both teams and noise levels are raising. Signups for grunts are now open, each and everyone who wishes to play PR in serious and organized manner better join before it is too late.
'Apply'
The signups happen in the same manner as the Officer signups did, everyone replies to the signup thread and in doing so reserves a spot in the team.
Both teams have 51 spots open and they are given to those who signup first. The battlecycles begin when we hit the minimum amount for both teams. There will be announcement immediately that happens. There will be more on how the battlecycles and scores are kept after weekend. We will be aiming so each battle is important and worth winning.
Remember to read the information threads before applying, as you are to follow them and meet the time requirements.

Re: TART - The Return of the War

The Battlecycle and Season Victor.
Evening
Today I wished to explain a little how the battlecycles are ran and how the we decide the winner of the Season.
Battlecycle:
The Battlecycle runs almost identical as it was before for Grunts and lower Officers. Cycle begins on Monday with Battle on second Saturday and the end on Sunday. What is different now is how we decide the maps and move the teams towards the objective of winning the Tournament.
Map choices:
For third Season we will be playing Standard AAS maps, but with little twist. Every Battleday both Teams choose three maps they do not wish to play next battlecycle. If Team wins, these three maps cannot be chosen to be played in the next cycle. The losing Team is then offered to choose any other map by Sunday which cannot be: One of the maps that has already been played on, or one of the 3 banned maps chosen by the winning Team. After the battlecycle is over, the ban on maps is lifted and new maps are chosen.
Factions:
Teams change sides after each battle and never play more than one battle on blu- or redfor in a row. Exception to this is the Russian Forces, in which case they are the opposing force of the one they are facing.
- Blufor:
- United States Army/Marine Corps
- British army
- Israeli Defense Force
- German Forces
- Canadian Forces
- Opfor:
- Russian Forces
- Redfor:
- People's Liberation Army
- Middle East Coalition
- Militia
- Taliban
- Iraqi Insurgents
Each victory adds points to Teams point pool, when this pool reaches over 15 the Team is declared winner and the Season is over. With 7 battles the Season has maximum of 29 points for the Teams to gather and 3 and a half months to play. The twist however, is that each battle is worth more than the one before. This makes it so no Team can simply have couple victories in a row and end the Season early, one Team can lose up to 4 of the first battles and still hang on to a chance of Season victory.

We have now opened the grunt signups, we hope to gather enough troops before the end of this week so we may begin the first battlecycle 3.9. Make some noise and gather all friends and strangers for Tournament combat.

Hello! - TART looks great and naturally you can't beat tournament matches
Unfortunately I'm busy with the final year of my PhD, so am dedicating my few PR hours to 3dAC.
Will watch with interest though
