Did I understand it right that there is, since PR 1.0, BOTH a "machine gun kit" (not existing in the current version) and a "automatic rifleman kit" (the one we know and use in the current version) ?
Or is the machine gun kit just a reworked version of the AR, just with other specific weapons?

The machinegunner kit will be, to my limited knowledge, a new kit and will carry a full-powered machinegun (eg 7.62mm PKM/MG3/MAG) and possibly a pistol while the AR kit will carry an intermediate machinegun (eg 5.56mm M249/Negev).

Do the Canadian forces still use the C6? I thought it went out with the FAL.

You've understood it correctly :)

I wouldn't see why not, Brits still use it since we got rid of the FAL/L1A1, its a pretty solid weapon that doesn't have many modern counterparts to :)
Wiki says they still use it and I expect our MAs would have flagged something if they didn't :p

The MG kit or Machine Gunner kit is for a a GPMG/MMG weapon which is basically the heaviest type of MG that can be handheld, while the LMG are still in the Automatic Rifleman kit :)
HMGs can only be mounted on tripods or vehicles generally speaking.
Wait, but isn't adding of two MG kits means that there can be
two Machine Gunners in one squad ? :-|

Yeah we had a pretty long talk about a lot of stuff, including the whole MG kit. But dayum DMC those renders of the FNMAG are crazy awesome still.

Why did you guys give the M240 a box mag instead of a belt? Just curious. Anyways, look really awesome.

Will USMC M240(was it B?) get the ACOG 6x times (IIRC) scope with RMR on top? Whenever I saw videos about Marines in Afghanistan, they had that ACOG mounted on.

Put it this way, the optic/parts configs are not locked to what is in the render. :)

Yes we do, and honestly, C6 is my favorite gun to fire, not to carry 8-)

I'm looking at how pretty those textures are... Have you guys by any chance managed to solve the texture issue that makes everything slightly green/purple-ish and the high/medium texture crashes?

These look beautiful, Khorne will be proud. I am curious about the iron sights though, I much prefer the folded down rear peep sight to the raised elevation sights. Maybe that will change depending on deployed / undeployed mode?

Also, will these do damage comparable to the M14, or the G3? They all fire the same cartridge, yet those two have distinctly different damage levels. Orrr maybe the entire damage system is getting an overhaul? =D
