If you're overweight we might be able to get two birds with one stone here.

(I'm not implying you are).

You have enough time to play PR...

Well, perhaps the man simply does not have the money and his job leaves him with enough spare time to play PR, but not enough to have a second occupation, or maybe he wasn't lucky finding one. Let's not become arrogant, please. If a mic isn't on his priority list, so be it.

Of course, this undoubtly leaves you at an in-game disadvantage.

^ That is why I like your posts so much, Spec. They always contain a good share of the relevant answers/data and (at least try to) close the gaps between the two sides of an argument. Voting for you for "Best Mod" any day!

Yeah Spec has a good point! But at the same time it's hard to know peoples' situations and I have a fair amount of friends that complain about money yet will not pick up extra shifts when offered to them [this is in Australia]. For them it's a case of valuing their free time more than their financial situation... or in other cases it's putting beer before other priorities. I'm not saying it is necessarily missinglink's situation, but it could be. What some may read as arrogance, others may intend as a [potential] subtle wake-up-call.

Implying that a good financial situation is actually "more have-worthy" than free time...let alone beer!

On-Topic:

Always thought that this was sth. server dependent. E.g. I believed (still do kinda) that it was indeed possible to write/read that stuff. On others (NEW; PRTA) I was sure it wasn't.

So what...you can vote and report while dead/down. For everything else most people actually have a (even if very basic quality/price wise) mic...hope you can get one in the near future!

Edit by Spec (don't want to update the thread with a post): Thanks for taking this back on-topic, KiloJules. Everyone, let's stay there now :)
