That happens because you notice that you are closer to death, then you life looks like more valuable than ever...

Due to blood-loss, agitation and anger you get rewarded with a rush of adrenaline. This makes running, coordination and killing easier. Your ability to run over to the downed corpsman and take his epipens will also be drastically increased.

It's the pressure.
Imagine: your whole squad is down and you have the medic kit. 1v5 situation. You're bleeding.
When that happens to me, I get on MLG tryhard mode and try to do my best.

Hahaha this was a funny read
But yea it's true, I tend to kill excessively when my squad depends on me. I cannot explain this. I've got it in other games too, like Battlefield 3. The first two games I murder like a son of a ***** but afterwards I lose focus and it's less intense and less stressful and suddenly I am really bad, I don't know what that is.

I really enjoyed reading this thread but would like to add a dash of boring rationalism.
How can we be so sure it's not just confirmation bias?
Confirmation bias - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Basically, we remember the times when we're bleeding and the last man standing that goes on to kick *** and be all out of bubble gum because its cool as hell. We then literally forget the times when we just get killed 15 seconds later because that's not very awesome. Leaving us with the impression that being balls to the wall gives us a super magical ability in PR.
Don't get me wrong, I love those moments but the chances are they are rarer than we realise.

it's because, after getting bleed you know that you are going to die. So you don't worry about anything and you shoot like a hell.

I'm far more alert when I'm bleeding. Mostly because I wait for a blood fade before I round a corner or enter a risky area so I can get the most time of visibility. Makes me much more aware than normal.

This explains pretty much each of these threads unfortunately
