Mines or laying down suppressing fire with an AR and some genus walks 3ft in front of me then punishes.

I managed to kill a whole friendly squad with mortars. My squad mate was on mortar 2 I was on mortar 1 I gave the elevation, but I miscalculated it. So we shot the mortars empty, even though we heard the "cease fire" commands, but there was no radio chatter telling me to stop.

It must have been awful to get killed like that.

Russian apcs a.k.a high tech coffins everytime i gun on of these i tk friendlies ..

There was one time, when one of our squad members got shot, and right after medic revives him, i throw a smoke granade at the guy, who was shot. I teamkilled him with a smoke granade Or maybe i'm mistaken.

Usually I dont, but accidents happen even to the best of us. Dropping a bomb and getting counterlased is probably the hardest one to avoid, especially if the enemy spotter knows what hes doing.

My teamkills are usually attributed to reaction shots caused by panic or horribly thrown grenades.

My most embarrassing teamkill(s) must be when i blew up my own cache + 4 people in my own team on Kokan once with a horribly placed artillery IED. On the bright side, i also killed the enemy i was hoping for.

Sometimes when I gun on any vehicle. Or when I am about to shoot and somebody walks in front of me. Or when there is a squad bug.

I would say grenade traps are the worst when it comes to TK's either because people put them in places where they do more harm to the team then to the enemy or because even if they are placed strategically, some smurf is always gonna trigger them.

The worst is when its a squad of smurfs bunched up and one activates the trap...

I once got 20+ kills on grenade traps alone but that was cause they were placed close to a dod, else I would have probably got 20+ tks.

The lack of attention of most players either in checking for grenade traps/mines even when marked or by crossing someones line of fire is in my opinion the biggest cause of tks.

My most embarrasing TK was on our server [NEW]. I was in a chinese Tunguska at the northern part of the map and enemy Havoc was reported in the area. Friendly CAS engaged, dropped flares, I locked them and immediately started shooting at the chopper. The friendly one. ops:

Well, after successfully destroying our most valuable asset, I drove back to the base, kicked myself of the server and watched series for the rest of the night.

Did not sit in an AAV since.

That's a sad story..... but come on shit happens.... its just 14 tickets and the enemy probably would kill it 5 min later with an enemy manpads. Players that camp in the middle of nowhere are worse than someone taking action.

just fire as vertical as possible with a good lock and make sure no friendly air asset is anywhere near. It happens from time to time that AA-lock onto friendly flares. If your not operating the AA chances are no-one else is and the enemy will take out much more than 14 tickets worth.

Risks must be taken to win a war. Everyone involved should know that.

Currently if I am teamkill it is in very confusing scenarios. I'm the guy who stares at the map constantly (and dies too much because of it).


The best TK I ever performed was on my entire squad.

In an earlier build of PR I was a grenadier in a British squad on Assault on Mestia. My squad had approached one of the hill fortifications and we were taking cover behind a rock. Naturally, I was prepared to launch grenades on the enemy if they appeared. As we were crouching behind the big rock my finger slipped and I sent the whole squad to hell .

Of course this was prior to arming distance being implemented.

Still, taking out such a heavy asset as a server admin is painfull.

But most guys under my command know, I am in the risk-taking business.

Two biggest for me are:

1) Rushing a FOB on the enemy flag in Dien Doung and destroying it thinking it was enemy...it was not...and it had been reinforcing our attack against the flag....my bad.....shhhhhh

2) Would be, of course, sniping across the map and the friendly tag doesnt show up and friendlie/enemies are mixed...good news is I hit the target just barely in sight range! Bad news is it was a friendly sqd leader/medic/some important player

My personal favourite was my first, a few days into finding PR for the second time:

It was on Al Basrah and we'd set up on top of one of the buildings overlooking some of the surrounding streets. I see a squad moving to an alleyway about 500m away and, knowing I'm about to lose the shot, I sight in my LSW and fire once.

The squad must have been running in there to take cover from enemy fire because whoever I hit was already wounded. I got my first TK and was griefed over teamchat a few times before I replied "Oh come on that was an awesome shot though!"

I never teamkill. Comes from being a fricking PRO!

I got temp banned for detonating pipebomb ieds which were in the lower level of the cache cave; somehow they managed to kill all the defenders sitting above.

I heard someone say that the enemy were below and hit the trigger.

I had a guy spawn in on my fob and go to the crate and then in all seriousness turn around and see our fob and say HEY I FOUND AN ENEMY FOB and before we could stop him he took it out...

Muttrah City.

I was horsing around with my knife, knifing one of the trans huey's glass sections on the front fuselage. I like the sound the glass makes when shot or stabbed

Some smurf was hopping in while I was doing that. I accidentally stabbed him as soon as he got in the seat (oops).

Needless to say, I got punished, kicked from the squad, and field executed by public execution by all on-deck.
