Best option is to only vert take off and land on the carrier.

Yeah VW is a mess with no air traffic control. Maybe people should try that.

Taking off vertically, forgetting that its unrealistic with a combat loadout, takes waay longer than taxiing to take off and taking off, even with multiple jets around and them all trying to take off and/or land, its still way quicker and far less risky IMO.

If on the other hand no one is thinking about anyone else other than themselves and just blocking the runway, jets not taxiing forwards after taxiing for take off to let other jets taxi in behind them (although that's a small thing) etc, etc, then it is quicker and safer in thous cases, but most of the time since the deck is so crowded you do generally see people behaving somewhat sensibly and its far faster and better just to take off normally
