Well, based on the number of sign-ups we got so far, we might leave the signups open and start with the first 4 rounds with the players we already have. However, we haven't reached the needed number for the 4 rounds yet either, so we will have to wait for that.

I was planning on having the first round on the 25th or 26th perhaps. That should give us enough time to get the player base (4 rounds setup) and finish some tweaks.

Ok, thanks for the info. The last week of january is not do-able for me so I'll have to pass. If this gets pushed to february, count me in.

Well it is suppose to be 1 to 2 rounds per week which means some of the rounds will be in February

Wow, this looks like fun. Just out of curiosity, will all of the rounds be played on Ramiel, or are they gonna be switched up?

All rounds are on Ramiel but you only play it once. That is unless if you win that round and play against the other round winners in the end

Why is that? Two weeks in advance plus you only need to participate in one round which doesn't necessarily need to be the first one.... Plus you can always participate on the second part if we get the numbers.

If there will be a short clip with action and tactics like in DayZ(fooling enemy, doing fun things), or Trouble in Terrorist Town i would assume that you will have to reject some sign ups

There are already videos of the beta tests... and signups are actually getting quite a few signups per day but slowly.

My guess is that after the first campaign, there will be plenty of media and feedback.

Do we have a rough time frame of the actual rounds, not dates but the time becuase my partner is busy from 10pm PRT so would that potentially be a problem?

I was going to make a poll to decide the times but seeing as most players so far are European, I'm guessing between 19h PRT and 21h PRT to start the round... but I can't tell you how long it will last since it only ends when there is only one survivor left (or squad).

Any chance of holding these during the weekends seeing as some people from North America will most likely have school/uni at the specified times.

afaik, FH campaign will be run on Saturday also, if thats the case than im sure there will be a clash between these 2 events and might cause players having to decided left or right type of thing. Which wont benefit neither event, so maybe have a chat with one of FH event organizers and see if all is good.

When is their tournament starting?

Ours is only 4 rounds (for now, reduced from 8 due to lack of signups) plus the final winners round and you only play once (unless if you have won one of the rounds). So I don't think it will be an issue...

But thanks for the heads up. I will keep that in mind.
