The PKP will be the medium machine gun while the role of the LMG will be taken by the RPK-74. That was in the changelog they released months ago.

Some faction's MGs won't have a scoped variant, to reflect what they would have in the field.

I guess it was kind of "low production value" in comparison to modeled scopes, but it was a REALLY good weapon with the zoom.
