Re: Teamwork-Oriented Clan?

For 1.0 coming out soon, I think this is less a topic that adresses clans but it is a topic that adresses the PR Community as a whole: What can be done to keep the teamwork at the highest level possible while many new players join the game?

Here's some suggestions:

- When opening a squad, name it "Learn PR" or something, get one of your clanmates and two new players join it (number depends on the amount of newbies the SL can handle) and have an intense training session on a public server, while still playing within the team.

- https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f376-p ... nings.html <- Make this happen when PR 1.0 comes out, this is a great initiative.

- As an admin, spam the chat with useful information (mumble, forums, tutorial), don't kick people, inform people about things. I had three new french players on our server lately that had no idea of the game and mumble, so I sent another french player (from MIF Clan) over to their team to teach them and 5 minutes later they all were on mumble getting started with the game.

- lower the hurdnes for new players: Please embed mumble directly to the new PR :D There are so many players that still don't have it downloaded or don't understand where to get it.

- make Events with pre-set squad leaders (only they sign up). Ensure everybody has a microphone and enjoy organized teams while at the same time having a lot of new players.

Basically, it is all about keeping the players to play the new version for longer than one month to keep PR alive as long as possible.

We don't need a tutorial PR Clan, we need all players to give their best for new players that are interested in PR, and I hope this actually gonna happen when 1.0 comes out.
The other way would be to complain about the new players' quality, kick their asses ingame and throw them out of the server for the tiniest mistake.

This does not mean to accept everyone:
"3. Deal with all the shitty attitudes, brain-dead-like behavior and immaturity out there."
