What is the purpose of that, I fly jets a lot and I find it good as it is now. I think it's normal to expose myself when I attack something. And if you were to increase AA range I would personally find stupid to get locked over the clouds or beyond the fog for example, without having any idea of where it comes from.
Yes that's how it is in real life, but gameplay before realism PLEASE.

But you wil be able to see via Flir pod like in the 2 seat bombers but for a single seat jets because dropping a bomb just by hearing a voice is stupid for.
I suggest Bigger view distance for All CAS asset and AA so the fight can be more realistic because flying in fog in hope to find enemy jet is a bit stupid for me. I prefer flying in Falkland big view distance you can see the ground From 2000+ m see jet beyond lock range and start to Maneuver and have some dogfights.
If you increase view distance for cas you will never see again CAS choppers searching each other for 20 minute a 2000m . If you can do it for commander why not for CAS.
I'm not saying increase AA lock and keep jet like they are, increase both of them equally give a Flir pod for the pilot so we can see what we are firing at like in the 2 seat bombers but with greater view distance.

It is impossible to increase VD only for one type of vehicles. And increasing it further for everyone will lead to FPS drops for players with slower PC.
Although, I think that it should be possible, to allow aircrafts to see heat signature from further distances, so you can spotted enemy aircraft from greater distance, so you can take some action, before he is in weapon range. I am very interested in community opinion about it.

Why we have huge view distance for the UAV with no Fps problem ? why can't devs do the same for AA and CAS ?

there is no difference between a uav and anything else. Same VD.

UAV just seems like a larger VD because its at like 800 alt and you can look straight down.

To clarify, I'm talking about everyone (including pilots) to see other aircraft from further away
it would be cool for the general view distance to be higher, but obviously that is more complicated
just having aircraft render further will make air to air dogfights more realistic
Because right now it feels like flying around in a blue soup until an enemy fighter just happens to fly into your visual sphere

Nothing renders past the cull distance (view distance) set in the map. That's why it's used to improve performance (by lowering it) because it saves you rendering buildings or assets 2000m out (except on falklands which has a huge VD). So basically to increase the VD without a performance hit you'd need to do one of two things:
- Optimize pretty much every asset to have as few textures/texture sheets used, exceptional LODS and great cull distances set (LOOOOTS of work)
- Reduce the number of objects (statics, players, vehicles) on the map to improve performance.
Neither of those is really a tenable solution, so I'm guessing (I'm no dev) that it'll stay as-is
