Right going to post the pics and feedback publicly CTRifle so others can also give you some pointers as I'm not the best person to give feedback on textures, especially not player textures:

Overall they look pretty good but there are a few things that need cleaning up.
First of all your gb_4 is using the old DPM woodland textures, take it you still need to do them? Also looks like your missing the "Heavy body" 1p textures?
Secondly are you not going to do a few different camos for the different solider types as talked about before since there was a few different uniforms used by the Brits in the war? Would be nice to show this and make much more use of the different texture sheets as currently they are pretty much all the same just looking at them with slightly different UVs when they could be so much more difference between them
Next there is quite a bit of a texture seam on the back of each solider, although not to worry about it too much since these are pretty much always covered up by backpacks and other kit geoms but something you might want to look into a bit:
Next thou is I think you've gone a bit overboard on the amount of "Diffuse 3D Detail" you've done for things like the fabric detail and pockets etc since the diffuse is only a 2D texture and doesn't really look right, on both the 1p and 3p. A subtle amount is good but think you've gone a bit ott and it just doesn't look right. Best to do these kinda details though the normal map as well where its going to look much more realistic. Also as a side note the neck has an odd shadow on it on this solider?

as well as the fabric detail being far too big on the 1p and just looks seriously odd? As a side note there is also this funny grey patch on the hands?
Speaking of normal maps are you going to be doing any as you really should make some to go with the new textures if you can once they are done as the old normals are quite conflicting:

Could really do with having most of the fabric detail in it and things like the pockets, buttons etc to really push them out etc where the current normal is just conflicting with the current diffuse to make it look really odd in places. Hard to see in 2D pics when your not moving about as you only really notice it when moving around an object or its moving and the light is changing. Although saying all that looking at the files our British textures do use the US Normal maps, but they are quite similar with their body armour etc but ye, would be really good if you could look into making custom normals but diffuse first as that's the most important and we can just about live without custom normals but would really help to have some
Also while its not very important right now its still worth mentioning that when your saving your 3rd person textures you need to save them with all their mip maps, although 1p textures need to be saved with no mips since your not going to get that far away from your own hands
And for my final point is there any more details you can add to these textures such as flags on the sholders, belts etc? Comparing your textures to the old ones they have a lot more little things like that on them but not sure what you can really add without looking at the refs but would be good if you could look into giving them some extra little things like that, keeping them in line with the refs thou
