It's not legal to do that, milosv12345
.
Heh, that's not legal, we don't do that, nor would we add that in our mod. Anyways Ander's has his own sound library that he bought himself, and recordings that he's done in the past.milosv123344 wrote:Hey anders, you got those BF3 sounds my buddy Frankelstner told you about before i managed to, you could potentially use some scream sounds, breathing fx, body impacts , footsteps from BF3, maybe adjust them a little bit, you also got potential "mec" or insurgent voices in \Sound\VO\Common\FA directory after extracting, you could use those in case you don't have some middle eastern guy doing a voice over for you you know?
But you can have variations of the same call[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:Impossibru, you can only have three voices: commander, squad leader and squad member.
But then your voice is different with every shout. Don't really know how that'll play outzombie-yellow wrote:But you can have variations of the same callfor example, there is "friendlyfire.ogg" and "friendlyfire_alt.ogg" why not have a "_alt2", "_alt3", etc...
Anyway, the game just pick one randomly
Sorry for continuing the suggestion, but I had to say this ^^
Maybe just add more "_alt" to the calls with the filter (over radio) so it looks like that it's a different soldier, but no other "_alt" in the no-filters so it's the same soldier when talking in voice range (just like it is now lol) ^^[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:But then your voice is different with every shout. That one might be an interesting optionzombie-yellow wrote:Maybe just add more "_alt" to the calls with the filter (over radio) so it looks like that it's a different soldier, but no other "_alt" in the no-filters so it's the same soldier when talking in voice range (just like it is now lol) ^^
He did... Now lets see.... Yeah, I would be VERY happy if we could have 3 new US voices for grunt, sl and com.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:Darman, just record a couple of lines and send your "demo" to anders.
Yes, nice idea if I can add more lines in the voice file.zombie-yellow wrote:Maybe just add more "_alt" to the calls with the filter (over radio) so it looks like that it's a different soldier, but no other "_alt" in the no-filters so it's the same soldier when talking in voice range (just like it is now lol) ^^
EDIT: Also, since we're talking voices, any chances to see a french-speaking derivation of the standard Canadian Forces ?I know that our french-speaking soldiers are deployed in french-speaking area, so it would make sense that in certain maps, the CF would speak in french ^^
