Are you expecting every SL to bother with broadcasting and CO's asking everyone about this?Bluedrake42 wrote:holy shit yes please, this would definitely help the commander, combined with the UAV, this would really make the commander a desirable role.

I see not everyone understands how exactly is that works.Frontliner wrote:It would be cool if you would make it limited so that the Commander is the only receiver, and depending on who actually carries a helmet cam in reality, I'm guessing SQL's, Spotter and maybe some heavy assets, are the only ones who may distribute such a live feed.
Setting up a server is the easiest part actually.How the sever worK ? is it hard to set up ?
No, you dont need to stream anything to receive someone elses stream. For exampe you can just input specific address in the settings and watch some random stream from twitch.tvOnil wrote:Are you required to be streaming to use it or can you use it only to receive someone elses stream? And is it easier to setup if only for watching a stream instead of for streaming aswell?
In case of MS-app there is used a little server to host these channels, but this server only processes a bunch of text. To handle the video streams with decent amount of people i'd need a much better server.sweedensniiperr wrote:Isn't it possible to sort of make it like the mortal calculator program also in overwolf?
You are broadcasting to a channel you name say, CMDR.
the receicer puts in those exact words in his receive thing
like this:
BROADCAST[X] CHANNEL NAME: CMDR
RECIEVE:[] CHANNEL NAME:
grey=can't interact(since the recieve box isn't checked.)
TrueI'd say you can use it only with ur friends and clan.
