In my oppinion, map is OK, I would have some fun in it, but it's extremely laggy when you are in woods, or look at them, I can paly other maps with 20-30fps, but this one 8-20fps. I think this map has too many trees, it reminds me fools road a bit, when I walk in woods, except laggy. And maybe few more places with buildings would be good aswell.

On the eastern side of the map on the shore there is a little refinery, you can climb under the building when you go under the stairs. The little refinery is sometimes a flag (sorry i dont know the map very well) and it is north east of the big house that is also a flag sometimes.

Thanks Camo. It'll make sure that gets fixed.

On the skirmish layer, the top part of the flag on North Objective is visible through the ground.

There are a few flags like this and they're fixed now... but didn't make the deadline for the beta build. :?

I like this map, the density is nothing like other woodland maps out there. The terrain is perfect, feels realistic. The only negative thing I dislike is that the wood on the trees look too grey. If they were more brownish. This map would be perfect.

The density of trees, terrain and the compounds make this map a lot of fun, I would not mind a map similar to this, but in Operation Ghost Train style terrain, bamboo trees and rivers.

The asset layout kind of works, though it seems BTRs and AAVPs are rarely used whereas the LAVs are preferred for their mobility, firepower and thermals. Possibly replacing one BTR with a BMP could spice things up for the Russian armor.

Great and most succesful map of the release in my opinion.

And I don't like, how roads are placed. For me it kinda looks like they were placed randomly, and not leading to any structure, or any strategic object. Only one road all around the island seems in place. I guess its a good map, but, I havent found any fun in it, as it lags a lot. 15/63fps in most areas

Forgot to add in earlier post: the havok is a bit undermatched if there's a crew who actually knows what they're doing with the attack hueys. Because of the removed anti airs and the slow speed havok easily gets killed by 2 cas hueys attacking it and has no way to escape/win the dogfight. Would definitely not mind more speed on the attack helicopters.

USMC camos are really hard to see when they are under tree shadows, makes me feel blind when I walk into people prone.

But the good old Russian camo is highlighted anywhere.

Is it just me or does this map crash the server more often than the other maps?

Would love to see a version with more ground vehicles. 6+ APCs and 3 Tanks with good amount of trucks. Though I would like to see bigger amount of vehicles in pretty much every map, but in the woods its more awesome. Think its little sad that APCs are somewhat a rare sight.

you sure mate? Just stay above them and the 30mm should go to work, plus the ASMs are still good. The can only shoot from the side or when theyre up close with the rockets. 14 rockets usually isnt enough to do in a havoc, too. That, and shooting out the doorgunners with 30mm is so possible.

I mean I think the CAS helicopters were nerfed too hard, the ASM's need to have a bit more splash, and the overall speed should, and has been increased, but I dont think losing to the huey's should happen too much

The ALT version has 2 tanks and 3 APCs per team. It's just not being played much.

I played this map several times, and for me it's always the West side being in play, what happened to the other flags like the Peninsula? I remember the map from the event, I loved the East side more :(
