When I'm ingame, sometimes the mumble overlay just freezes with whatever chat I'm using. When I tab out, it says I'm suppressed by the server and that mumble has lost the link. I have no reliable way to fix this other than restarting PR entirely, is there an easier way that doesn't end up with me sacrificing tickets/squad position/ team position?

Welcome to PR Moskvin28,

PRMumble will automatically restart if terminated. so instead of restarting PR, when you alt tab out, close PRmumble in the system tray to allow the PRLauncher program running as a background task to restart PRmumble. You should then be automatically reconnecterd to the PR server's PRMmumble server and moved to the correct subchannel for your squad.

Is it possible to make mumble run twice? I've been trying real hard by doing multiple things like using process hiding software to try and make it re-open itself and I also tried -nosingaleinstance among a few other things, but I just can't get it to open twice. I miss playing music while doing transport for my buddies and would love to see that made possible again.

mumble has a command line option -m
that allows multiple instances.

I'm not sure how it's implemented with PRMumble though. -m was implemented at 1.0 release date, but it was part of the problem where people would end up with a dozen instances of PRMumble running with only one connected to the mumble server at a time. IDK how AncientMan and the other Devs changed it to fix that problem.
Run Multiple instances of the Mumble Client

if you start the mumble client with the option -m You are allowed to start an other instance of the client on the same System. Be aware that this switch is unsupported and can cause all kinds of strange behaviours as the two clients still share the same config, database, overlay,.....you get the idea ;-) (especially make sure you don't use volume attenuation^^)

Thanks for the help Lito! Very much appreciated. I'll try this out tonight and see if it works.

Edit:

It works! Thanks again man. I've ran in to another problem now in that it no longer automatically places you in the squad that you are in and you can't even find it manually via mumble as it doesn't seem to show every server. For it to work correctly you need to have two of yourself inside the same mumble channel.

PRmumble does not automatically restart when I terminate it.

The crash involves mumble saying that I lost link and that I am suppressed, when I shut it down, it does NOT restart. I also doubt that manually restarting will fix the problem.
