Only issue I have with sounds right now is that the volume drops dramatically over short distance. I've had APCs pretty much sneak right next to me without noticing them. Even with some small arms fire and explosions sounds in the distance, armored vehicles are pretty damn noisy that they don't get within 300 meters without you noticing.
