With all due respect to Shacktac and anyone involved, to me it feels like Dslyecxi does not realize he is playing with a different set of rules, and is not in charge. He had made some quite hateful comments towards the Project Reality community, perhaps due to some bad experiences, but they have been made nonetheless and even as a nearly 5 year subscriber, I'm not gonna kiss his ***.

I played in a squad with him yesterday but I basically got ignored and interrupted every time I tried to talk. I don't know if its just me not being "up to speed" with Shacktac comms, or everyone having to talk in local causing a clusterfuck as soon as shots are fired, or just me being too sensitive but the atmosphere was not the most welcoming.
If anyone from ST does read this, take it to mind.

I hope Chkilroy and Beagle will also play it.

Why not just buy a Steam copy of BF2? You could be playing already!!

When watching it does give the wrong impression about what he feels about PR. Look through comments on both videos and you will see that he likes it enough to recommend to his followers.

As for you fella's that don't care much for Dslyexci I get it, he is brash and probably doesn't realize his popularity is on youtube.... not in game.

However, because of that popularity, he has helped the community (meaning guys like me) in ArmA get some things fixed and implimented in ArmAIII Alpha/Beta that otherwise would not have been heard by BI.

I'm sure he gets all the heckling he needs on his videos, and most guys (rather than settling matters) will just ban people. I think when you see some quality people come from his promotion of PR you'll appriciate that tidbit but you are welcome to your opinion of him. Its deserved

Its clear he doesn't look at it as an equal to ArmA, which is fine since he's is one of their key community members that gets special treatment. On the same token, I was drawn here because he did not lie and say the game was ****. He noted things he didn't like but overall there was a theme that if you like realism and teamwork this is a great game mod.

I'm no Dslyexci fanboy, although I do appriciate most of his material, but think about the influence he can have in positively impacting PR. I'd say despite his lackluster performance he still posted the video and he'll be the first to admit that unless a game or recording has an appeal he won't post it.

It will draw good attention to this game

I'd rather have Dyslecxi be a bit critical than have a bf3-gameplay-guy be over-enthousiastic about PR in his video. It's all about the target audience

Well, we should not expect for him to take PR as "seriously" as Arma.
BI games have been his fall back games, and he runs Shacktac, he's not just gonna switch to PR.
But I do believe he sees the appeal, and hopefully now understands that the reason some of his rounds were so boring is because of bad squad cohesion. Its not that he doesn't like PR, but it serves a different purpose than carefully hand crafted Arma shacktac missions.

I love ArmAII, but you're right... Very well scripted and pretty much you can't lose if you keep at it. PvP is not really the best, Coop is where its at for ArmA. Looks to me like PR:BF2 is made for PvP while still having the Coop feeling and group cohesion.

Coop is what it is for Arma atm... Until PR:A3! Yeeeaaaahhh
