If you want to learn the real hate, you need to be born German, or American, or Russian. Sadly there does exist lots of hateful prejudice towards the three. But French.... you are lucky to be one.
Oh right, you probably know better than me since you're... not French? Okay...
I never had any problem making friends abroad, I've always been welcomed well, it doesn't mean I haven't had to make my way through some tough stereotypes more often than I could've imagined.

I'd take the same stance on this as with the racist comments and Insurgent "jokes" we get on other maps.
They're as old as the Alt + F4 jokes.
Besides the fact they're just not original or funny, the OP is quite right - they are quite offensive and very inconsiderate to France's position in global affairs these days.
But mostly, it's just old and boring. PR community is better than that.

Americans won't understand this thread because we don't have the same sense of unity as a country as other countries like France do.
Hell, I shit on Americans all the time. (Psssttt, most of us are fat and stupid.)

This jokes make me laugh most of time with people who say "vive le France", "baguette oeufs" and i hear one day "couper ma baguette en 3 trois killjoy" with funny french accent lol, but when you hear this 1 day 2 days 1 week you start feeling discriminated.

Yap I agree anyone gets tired of hearing the same jokes but making a "I don't give a fuck" thread is well giving a fuck, pardon my French, but it is.
So endure yourself and resist the jokes.
This post sums it up pretty well. Perhaps you should come up with some witty comebacks for those that try to defile your fellow countrymen.

I actually recall a real life incident that would make me inclined to agree. I'm from Texas, and went to college up in Minnesota. Even my good friends up there would occasionally make Texas jokes to me (like in-bred incest jokes and stuff), and it was funny at first, but eventually got really frustrating and annoying, so I can see how the French jokes would be the same.

I actually laugh at the repetitiveness of the jokes, not the jokes themselves.

If people want to make jokes.... be original. Nothing more annoying than seeing the same joke for the 10th time.
I'm not french and I think that the french jokes are annoying, as well as many other repetitive jokes. If it is an original joke, then I'll probably laugh, but there is often far between the real comedians in PR.
The French and ARF jokes are being thrown around a lot atm and I haven't found any of them funny so far.

I clearly say that this is the internet and not only the French jokes can't be stop as they aren't the only ones and the one thing you capture is the "I don't give a fuck" part?
I will say again:
"This is the internet, there are "Racist" jokes, There English jokes, Fat jokes etc..." Does every Englishman like to be associated with Tea? Does every american like the term 'Murica! No they don't but you don't see them complaining.
Rise above if you don't like to hear those jokes.
And welcome to the Internet.

My wife and kids are French and I live in POM my only real world remark about the FF is that they seem very unhappy with poor morale, but that's another thread.

I personally have large respect for the French, mostly do to doing real research on their military history and getting a better understanding. I haven't had the displeasure of hearing dumb jokes yet, but being an American, I have heard jokes to the same degree, and they are annoying as hell. If it gets annoying, I just speak down and insult the people doing it, but that's just me.

I support this post, I saw so much annoying jokes about the french during the french map... Same for the ARF... Dont compare about the amount of french joke and the others. Just play on a map with the FF on it and you will see.

Are you mature enough to stop giving fucks for something such a banal ?
Seems not.
If someone really cannot get over bullshit that is insulting to the mind of people
of 6-14 years of age then people should and will intentionally pick on them.
That was my advice from the depths of my heart.
Now you choose.

Most of the people making those "jokes" don't know anything about the French military.
Whatever your reason is, someone made the joke before you, it's no longer funny, and by respect for our service men and women out there, I solemnly ask you to stop.
Keep in mind there are French people playing this game, probably some active or retired service men. Or like me, people who have close ones in the military, sometimes out there on the field. And by respect for all these people, it has to stop.
PS : Put yourself in our shoes, how would you react if your military (and therefore a symbol of your country) was bashed days after days after days by random people?
The jokes should stop ONLY because they're stale. It's like repeating a meme until it stops being funny and starts being annoying except this meme has repeated for decades.
If you're going to claim that it's a disrespect to servicemen and women and that's the part that offends you, you're taking things way too seriously. Just my two cents.

You are wrong, its not about maturity. It seem you cant undestand. If you knew how many french are bored about these jokes.

I still think that French Comma Rose was funny where a photoshopped pic showed all commands having 'Fall Back' on them, even though I educated myself that the myth is really stupid, because historically, and even now, French people are brave fighters who fought the Axis and Nazi's with French Resistance groups during WW2, and even in WW1, and they kick alot of *** with demolitions, assassinations, night-raids and helping Allied Forces.
Since 387 BC, France has fought 168 major wars against such badasses as the Roman Empire, the British Army and the Turkish forces.
They've won 109, lost 49 and drawn 10 times approximately. Don't know what timeline that goes from 387 BC - ?
The only reason why they didn't 'won' WW2 was because of the 5.7 Million casualties suffered from WW1, and they were still recovering from it. Even then, they dealt the Nazi Germans some blows.
And the FAMAS is very powerful too. It would beat the AK hands down on close-quarter combat due to it's faster rate of fire and accuracy. Even now, I bet they are really good.
Just correcting myths. And really, what reason it is to say 'Oh that country is so and so'? People should do research before they say stuff so they don't make themselves look stupid.
And really, what right does any country, politician or not have to say against a country? Fuck propaganderists, self-centered ego's/elitism and liars. Go away ignorance, nobody misses you.
