happend on beirut blackhawk IDF today.

I had around 30 flares I reloaded and I got flare bug

Has anyone ever had this happen to them in a jet? Or only in helicopters?

Yes it is in F15, but I didn't saw this bug in other jet's.

Happened on KIOWA at Kokan INS.
ruskies nearly banned me from their server for that :>

Any report about jets ( apart from F-15) having this bug or not would really help us investigating it.

No i think it doesn't happen to jets exept F15 (I'm flying a little bit, and it never happened to me in jet).
But in case of F15 it's definatelly sth different - because in helis counter on HUD still works (in F15 it doesn't work from beginning - its always bugged and says "60" even if u drop some flares and it will never let you reload).
In case of helis it happens sometimes (not always), and it works like this:
If i drop 30 flares, I have still 30 left. Counter says 30. Then I land, reload - counter says 60. But when I first drop flares afterwards, heli will launch 6 flares but counter will drop down to 24 (like it launched 36 of them ). And then you already know u have flare bug and you can't do much about it - next reload will look the same - 60 flares, but after first drop it will be down to 18 and so on until beeing out of flares. Then the counter says 60 - but no flare will be launched when attempted.
Swapping pilots, kits etc. doesn't help (same as with F15).

Like, 6x flares in mag, and 10x mags, with 0.1 reload time. Afaik now we have this bug due to 1 mag of flares which is not reloading sometimes.

Btw, is anything stopping from implementing this flare system for all helicopters?
