When you fight in a world that is mostly on the incorrect side of the road, we have to sometimes suffer;(

That's an RSOV Land Rover; not UK forces.

Painting is just right.

Do you know what the hell is the name of the thing replacing it? We just usually called it the side by side in Afghanistan.

I know its OT but I just really want to get the name.

Lightweight Tactical All Terrain Vehicle (LTATV)? I didn't know it was completely replacing the RSOV, since the Ranger Regiment also uses HMMWVs.

I seriously doubt that. Every ref I've seen of a British WMIK is right hand drive, including from Iraq, got any refs?

There always used to be loads of LHD land rovers, I guess because of the cold war deployments although nowadays I don't know.

Still is.

But the big tip-off that it wasn't a UK Land Rover would likely have been the Mk-19 on it. Aside from UKSF, the BA and RM never used the Mk-19, and that isn't a "pinkie." That and the US camo and helmets.

Yeah I spotted those, just had them in the 'cheap painting' category though - Action Man box style (or GI Joe). Although in all fairness I can't paint that (though it is quite hard with just my fingers, poster paint, pva glue and dried pasta).

Stop sniffing the paint and stop eating the glue and dried pasta. It will probably get much easier.
